Thank YOU for addressing the issue so quick. I had just clicked on an index.cfm link and got redirected..for a minute I thought I imagined that the index redirect wasnt working.

Web developers will know what I mean by .htaccess. Wanted to suggest a rewrite rule. In alot of descriptions on the STEX I see links for dependencies like this: http://www.simtropol...ex.cfm?id=16352 As you can see the link is dead. With a simple rewrite trick in htaccess you could set the server to redirect it to: http://www.simtropol...ls.cfm?id=16352 Which will then redirect to: http://www.simtropol...g-bulowstrasse/ Hope to see this implemented to help out new users or those who for one reason or another, need to re-download alot of files. Ok I decided to do a reinstall, apply sku1 update for North America. To the best of my memorey it ran fine last time. This time it did not. Applying MODIFY File Patch for 'SimCity_1.dat' warning wpt0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. Applying MODIFY File Patch for 'SimCity_2.dat' warning wpt0036: Old File not found. However, a file of the same name was found. No update done since file contents do not match. Oh sorry, guess i wasnt aware of the newer update as I have 1.1.638.0.

I'm not sure how to explain this very well so please bare with me. Is there any way to add varieiety to the zones in the game? For example, i plop down a residential zone. Are there any mods that will add more choices for the game to choose from? Earlier I noticed 3 houses in a row exactly the same.

I have SC4 Deluxe. Its fully up to date, but the lights don't work.

Read the description of mods carefully. It should list dependencies. You need the files listed in dependencies or else you get the boxes.

Well it took about 10 min of putting trees down in god mod, and finally got it down and from there and with a few anti-anti pollution mods got it down to nothing(but thats no fun is it ) anyways, let me get this right...say your air pollution level is value of 50, and you add a few anti-pollution mods that have a value of 75, this means its gona take the value to -25 or +125? I'm guessing the second from what i saw.... Thanks for the advice, much appreciated!

I have about 10,000 people in my city. I have no air pollution except in one far corner where i have some dirty industry. However some time latter i check the pollution(i think after i load my saved game) the city is covered in a cloud of smog and then when i check the air pollution levels the whole city is covered in red. I have tied bassicly every air purification mod in the Exchange(and placed like 20 of the items in my map), and none work. I even tried the radical oridnances mod and this didn't work. I even deleted the entire industry section of my city and yet still the smog remains. So does this sound like a faulty mod causing the problem? Is there a cheat to disable the air pollution? I hate to do this because I prefer the realisim factor of having to deal with some air pollution, but I can;t even put a dent in this smog. Any help?

I installed a traffic mod that asked me something about which side of the road does your sims drive on. Well it seems i choose the wrong option. I know the mod came in an EXE installer, and wondered if some one could refer me to the proper one so that I can uninstall it and correct the problem. Thanks.
