  1. I am GUESSING that this is a Win7 problem. Try using Backwards Compatibility Feature to run it: 1. Download and SAVE (DO NOT RUN) the update ".exe" 2. Right click and go into the "Compatibility" tab. 3. Select WinXP under "Run this program in compatibility mode for:" 4. Try running it. Whispered P.S. This is from a guy running WinVista, so sorry if some of the wording is off.
  2. Major population bug D:

Have you installed all SC4 Deluxe/Rush Hour updates? Try that, then follow CyanideCloud Whispered
  3. smoncrie's hole digger lots

Ok. Everyone above is right. But you are probably confused... so: ELABORATION: If you don't already have it, get the NAM (Network Addon Mod) from the STEX. Then, place the rail. Place a "Road Straight On Piece" on both sides, so that it appears level. Use "Road over Rail" to finish it. Hope this helps, Whispered
  4. Sunken Highways?

Yes, what you need to do is get the smoncrie (sp?) hole digging packs. They have a hole digger for sunken highways. Use that and flatten a TWO tile area from there until you want it to stop. Whispered
  5. Need help finding T and X taxiway junctions!

Try reinstalling ALL RMIP-2 SAE packs (1-4). Then check your Airports menu. ALSO. I noticed something very wrong with the way you are using the modular parts. In pictures 1, and 10, the taxiway in the bottom left is incorrect. Build the taxiway not with "Half Centerline" pieces, but with "747 Taxiway-Gate junction" or "747 Gate Taxiway" parts. They should be found closer to the bottom, above the ramp parts. Just some friendly advice Whispered
  6. Functional Underpass

To correctly use the FLUP NAM puzzle pieces, you must follow these steps/rules: 1. The entrance and exit must be placed in a spot where you can connect them via FLUP x (road, street, grass, rail, etc.) pieces. 2. The puzzle pieces must be in every single tile that you want to be transit enabled. Therefore, they CANNOT go under lots. 3. The transparent surface puzzle pieces are just blank pieces for a FLUP over blank land that you plan to develop later. You cannot build or zone over these. 4. If you connect the end to the beginning with subway, not puzzle pieces, then it will not work. If you follow these rules, the NAM FLUPs should work to your advantage.
  7. Boarderton

Hello, and welcome to the utopian Metropolitan Area of Borderton. Everything is ready except the pictures! So the city planners have given a period of time to get those in. They should go in somewhat this order. Airport Commercial Center Residential areas Metro Center (Subway/El. Train) Industrial area Anything else Updates will be as often as I can

  9. Show us your Airports!

I have decided to not post anymore airports for a while for a reason. Has anyone EVER flown on AA? Then you would know that for MOST routes inside the lower 48 they use MD-80's or similar planes (Also called s-80's). I don't believe that I can make a realistic airport until I can get a prop for that plane. I am working on a huge one though... Whispered
  10. Show us your airport!

@Josh6: Please do, and post a link here... @The rest of you: Nice airports! I will post mine when it's done. It uses GHSR, the Rural Highway Mod, ACB-VLT Terminals and Jets, and RMIP... Got the terminal done, have to make a runway...
  11. 6 - New Airport in Breser City: Sankt Bernd International Airport

I like the airport, however I believe that the airport ground would look more realistic with the RMIP-2 Small Airport Edition, and less terminals. There is NO excuse for the planes to be that close to each other, that makes it look very unrealistic. Also, the runways are not to scale at all. Whispered.
  12. Show us your airport!

They come with one of the airport packs, I think I found them on SC4D... Cant get a link now though, and you have to lot them yourself. Just search on google.

  16. Show us your airport!

I can make airports, but where do you get the modular buildings that Muck308 and DCMetro have. I dont have those so mine kinda suck. Thanks, Whispered
  17. Show us your airport!

Here's my first attempt at an airport. It is Winterton International airport. It is probably horrible, cause it only uses one airport pack. The largest N-S runway can carry 747's and A380's, but both of the western N-S runways are used by airlines. The third N-S runway is mainly used by low cost carriers. The E-W runway has no center lighting at night, and is used for general aviation. The two north taxiways off of the largest runway lead to hangers for low cost carriers or general aviation. The other taxiways lead to the terminals. In between the terminal-runway taxiways are the cargo areas. There are three terminals. JetBlue is the main low cost carrier, and operates out of terminal A (Northern-most terminal) along with the other low cost carriers. Delta Airlines owns all of terminal B, and part of terminal C, and this is a major hub for them. The other part of terminal C houses American Eagle, American Airlines, Continental Airlines, Continental Connection, and Maxis Airlines. There are more general aviation hangars on the taxiway leading to the GA runway. During the day, this runway may also be used for very small business or commuter jets. There are two ATC towers. One for GA and small planes, and one for commuters. The entire airport is powered by one hydrogen power plant. There arepolice and fire crews within 5 minutes of the runways and terminals. To the west of the airport, across the avenue is a convention center and hotel. This airport has been built in the prime location for expansion, and plans for a new runway going N-S have been approved. With this new runway, the airport will probaly get a new terminal or two. Around this airport is industrial zoning. These industries have easy access to the cargo holds, and can access them at any time. Farther to the north is commercial zoning, with residential to the west. Most likely, any new building will be done to the east, or north. UPDATE: The Winterton International Airport has a new terminal and runway. The runway and terminal are owned by Cow Airlines. This is a relatively new airline, terminal, and runway. C+C? Thanks, Whispered
