Question: Any major updates?
bz2king replied to SimCityerMan's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
To answer the OP, it's hard to say at this point because the game does have alot of issues. Perhaps once the game is fixed where it should be we will see expansion updates -
Neighbors don't produce enough water; my own city is running dry what do i do?
bz2king replied to 5uper_Mania's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
U only need the filtration pump if your treatment plant is overflowing which spills ground pollution around it -
I have started testing by placing 2 or 3 truck plops, waiting a day with the port on "Use Locally" so in theory, the trucks would have garages to return to, however, the trucks so far don't return until you mark it for export, even if you demolish the whole damn thing.

Excited for this, quite of few of those fixes are ones I personally have been hoping for -
Yes, I understand we all know the Port has many MANY issues, but I've discovered yet another. It seems, that if you place one of the alternate exporters, (rail or boat) that occasionally, the port will still ship the resource on a truck. Even with all the trucks demolished. Not sure how to fix this, ive rebuilt the damn thing a few times now and still have the issue. Any thoughts?

This is an amazing guide, thank you for the info, it touched on quite a few issues i was having as far as starting a tourism city, oddly enough, thats the last specialization I have not been successful with. Based on your guide here, I believe I may have been going at it in the wrong direction. I always began with the casino and started moving into the other aspects, such as the expo center. Thanks for the time you put in

I don't know how much longer I can play this broken game
bz2king replied to Hybr1d's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Never said i was unhappy with it, however you cant argue that 1 person can change the attitude of a game company like EA, sure, there are many people upset with it, including myself, however, as I said, 1 person wont change anything. Now as i stated before, if enough people complain then sure, maybe something will change but, EA has a history of ignoring consumers, so, honestly, I'm tired of fighting it, I've played EA games for years and its always the same thing, so its of no surprise to me that Simcity would be any different -

As i said in a previous thread, you have to love these threads about people quitting, frankly, I personally believe its a cry for attention, most people who get mad at a game, just quit and are done with it. These threads always make me laugh. Sorry if that offends anyone, but the cold reality is, unless hundreds of us stop playing all at once, it really wont make EA any more worried about the game, if they are at all -
Fed up with game...

Gotta love all the threads like this one, sorry if this is rude, but the reality is, you are 1 of many, MANY players, all of which are probably having the same issues. The truth of the matter is, you quitting wont affect the game whatsoever....granted if enough people stop, then sure, but that will never happen -
This is a big issue, I still haven't been ae to get boats or trains working, some say it works fine, others, like me, are screwed

Very Very bad in game graphics
bz2king replied to reeceflem's topic in SimCity (2013) Technical Help Q&A
I used to see artifacting like that in BF3, turned out my card was overheating, plopped a new fan in the case that serviced the VC directly and since then have had no issues, may be something you want to look into- 8 Replies

Streets or avenues to make a big city? what should you use?
bz2king replied to bigmummylover's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Well if you read the post, I said that I never go very far because I never try to get a larger cities because of the fudged numbers. I'll take one of my cities that far and see what traffic does, I am kinda curious now as to what would happen -
I can confirm this wealth and density are different. You can have $ at high density or even $$$ at low density.. They operate independently if each other

bz2king replied to bigmummylover's topic in SimCity (2013) General Discussion
Honestly, my last city i did, i didnt use 1 avenue. When zoning, I simply connected the zones together, such as: ____ |R|R| |C| I |------------ -> Highway ------ By making "blocks" like this, sims are able to walk pretty much anywhere, then you simply connect to your highway as normal with an offshoot. Continue expanding this and you will notice traffic is almost nonexistant. I'm sure there are improved versions of this, however, from my experience, this is a great way to build a profitable city that eventually grows into a metropolis. Personally, i never take my cities over 40k simply because I feel that the "fudged" numbers start becoming far to ridiculous to manage. BTW: For the industry, make sure they are downwind of the Residential and you wont have issues there either, I ran with education and got the high tech industry so pollution never really became an issue. Hope it helps
