I'm trying to do Manhattan myself and have a few questions: 1) Do you have Broadway as one continuous street or is it represented here and there by diagonals? I imagine this is one hard street to sim. 2) I have trouble aligning Grand Central Station with the axis of Park Ave. I have Park Ave as an "avenue" but only one side of the avenue lines up with the center portal of GCS whereas in real life GCS is dead on. I iamgine this was probably because the GCS landmark in the game was developed before the Rush Hour pack and was meant to align with a road axis. By the way, I believe the eagle is supposed to face South but each time I try to plop GCS it wants to face north (towards the Met Life building). I end up hvaing to bulldoze the street to get the eagle facign south and then rebuilding it afterwards. 3) Were you able to simulate the two-tier roads at GCS? 4) Did you use the Main Library building for the New York Public Library? I have each street in Midtown Manhattan represented and in real life the NYPL takes up two blocks along 5th from 40th to 42nd but when I plop the main library icon into that space it looks puny (I have 4 tiles in between each numbered street), espeacilly when compared with the expanse of Bryant Park. By the way, for the avenues, I put down two one-way streets side by side. I figure that Maxis will eventually come out with a modification that allows for one-way streets to have more than 2 lanes thus I want to leave enough space for that and in the meanwhile have the traffic patterns as close to reality as possible. Speaking of one-way streets, were you able to link them to other cities in the region? I seems to me that only roads, avenues, and highways can be linked.
