Date: 5/25/2005 6:46:58 AM Author: the_crispbread_witch This have been talk about ever since the game was released. To sum it up: Some say that the game will never run perfect with highest settings, even if you have the mother of all computers. Some say that it runs smooth on their 256mb, 64mb graphics card and 1 Ghz processor. General advise: 1024mb of RAM 256mb graphics. To read more about this: 1024mb vs. 512bm of RAM Who has good machine specs??? quote> One thing I want to add. 256mb RAM graphics cards aren't always better than higher clock speeds. The 6600GT which is 128 bus and 128mb RAM is much better than a 6600 256mb or a crippled 6800 (aka 6800LE) Basically, a 9600 or 5700 and up or a 6600 and x700 and up will work. Your pushing it with a 6200/x300.

Nintendo Revolution Revealed!
Smurfer2 replied to The boy formerly known as Evil Muzz's topic in Gaming Talk
Not even into game consoles, but I play them at friends houses quite often. Just this weekend I was talking to a friend about what Nintendo's next console would be since Sony introduced the PS3 and Microsoft the Xbox 2. Thanks for the news! -

Smurfer2 replied to rubik3's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
I still don't know how you reach that level of detail. It's simply amazing. At this rate I'll be installed SC4 again in the next 5 days and play it. P.S. Love the nightlighting. -
Date: 11/23/2004 11:22:34 AM Author: dev Well, it has been a while since you have gotten the Awesome privilege of a dev pic, so without further to do! quote> Awesome? Privilege, yes, an awesome one, I dunno.. At one point we never got to see what HSC4 looked like, not it's common. It's amazing what time can do... [:0]

I love WWII as well. Guess I'm a little late, but I'll see what I can cover. Tiger I= Was the mozzle protector changed in the released version? Panzer IV= What model?, I would love an F2. (Who doesn't like long barrels?)

Smurfer2 replied to Meg's topic in Simtropolis Related
That was quite I shock to me. Can't believe it actually! Thank you members of Simtrop, always here to lift me. Thank Admins and moderators, you guys are the best. -
I've been taking it for, hmmm...5 years. I'm still not fluent and probably never will be. My favorite laguage is German. Simwario, you should record an everyday conversation in German and post it. Dusk, you got to be the best spanish speaker ever. (Just kidding)

Hate to ask, but do you have an update to the stadium? If not, that's fine too.

Looks like months of hard work has paid off Rubik and I think everyone loves the complex! -
I'm really looking forward to the Stadium. The Bombers or the Pirates (fictional soccer teams) need one and this will work very well. Take your time JEC. Can't wait for it to be on the STEX.

Skydome development thread - another kd5rax project!
Smurfer2 replied to GaryGerbrandt's topic in SC4 BAT & Lot Workshop
I can't help you with the red area, but it's improving. This will certainly be one of the better stadiums when it's done. Little too soon for me to comment on textures or the field. -

That's sad that you had to give up on St. Pauls. Though your new project looks good. The glass is especially nice.

You mean 6 lanes overall or 12 lanes overall?

Building Log: World Trade Center (Pre-9/11)

Date: 9/3/2004 3:04:27 AM Author: rubik3 Well I'm happy to see that there isn't an uproar about the reward requirements. To tell you the truth I thought I would be hanged for putting them in, but I'm glad you guys still want a challenge for the game. I think the requirements are within an acceptable range. No need to uproar. Well, I'll continue to count down the days. I'm still not positve about the requirements, but they will be high enough so that plopping 50,000 jobs won't destroy your city. That is really the main reason I've decided to go with the reward. That way you can be somewhat sure that your city and region is stable enough to handle the large influx of jobs. And it looks like the landmark requirements are going to be ditched. Currently it's not possible to do regional requirements with them, and there aren't any landmarks in the general area to make a city requirement. The Statue of Liberty could work for those that download a New York map, but those that use the Maxis region wouldn't be able to complete the requirements. And I'm trying to keep the dependancies fairly low. As of right now the only neccesary download is SimGoober's Flora Pack and hopefully it'll stay that way.quote> -
HS4, you have a nice view from your house. Slovenia in summer time... How beautiful.
