  1. Changing a city layout grid

OK, I read that three or four times already, UN1. The part I'm having trouble with is aligning the grid with the terain features in the greyscale .jpg. In other words, making a large city at the forks of the river where they conjoin to form the one river. (Allegheny R. comes in from the WNW and the Mononghela R. comes in from the SSE forming the Ohio R.) I think I figured out how to re-configure the .bmp file but, I can't get it matched to where the metro Pittsburgh area is. I somehow need to overlay a transparency of the config.bmp over the greyscale .jpg in order to get the proper grid co-ordinates. ooOOOOooorr, is it easier to start fresh and construct my own map from the USGS topo map?
  2. I downloaded a prop file from the web-site titled Pitysburgh. When I opened the file it shows 256 city "squares". The entire config.bmp file is red. I have SC4 Terraformer loaded and running in compatibility mode for WinXP and run as admin. I am able to open the region and see the grid in the smaller window but, not the SC4T main window. The only thing in the main window is the terrain map. No grid. I want to adjust the grid. Step by step, how do I change the .bmp file to approximate the layout of metropolitan Pittsburgh and the surrounding suburbs (cities). I figure the metro area should be 4x4 or 5x5 max in the .bmp file. (Or 16x16 or 20x20 when the region is opened in SimCity 4 RH.)
  3. Hole Digging Lots

This thing is a god-send for those of us who build our rail lines after laying down all the roads. THANKS
  4. Editting the Region as a whole?

  5. Get your Maxis files here!

Maxis site BAD! Registration causes male pattern baldness (from pulling hair with both hands). How do I know if I have Update 1?
