I think that the whole point of this is to make highways look like your own counties setup. Here in Australia 99% of our highways are just a heavy duty bitumen road. But due to being heavy duty it also carries the traffic capacity of a highway. So making the highway in SC look like bitumen or something just means you will be able to make a road that has highway capacity but looks like your own countries road system.

When do you think there will be a beta version or even a final? I am looking forward to using this.

Is Olympia ever going to eventuate? I know I might be nagging but I am really really looking forward to some more shots of your building skills.

What has happened? Why has the posting stopped? Was really getting into this...

Has there been any progress on improving the performance for this Rain Tool? Anyone work out how to make it save the data?

When can we expect more updates? Especially of the devlopment of the cities.

Would you be able to compile all your Tutorials into one post? Also it would be great if you could create a word and/or PDF version of your tutorials with pics so that we can download. BTW: Awsome city and I am still trying to understand your instructions for making the elevated rail at ground level.
-
Why would it hit the freeway? Wouldn't it create a Bridge accross the lowered terrain?
-
Would just like to mention this. Having the Elevated Highway placed in at ground level as you done with the elevated rail, would allow you to then FINALLY get Monorails to go over them. Sounds like a great solution

Sorry but have to do this. Your first Slip up. A HOT air ballon does not run on helium. It runs on Hot Air. He would have had to run out of whatever falmable gas they use for the flame.

What map did you use in all those screenies?

When you zone it removes the trees from around it also. Have a zone then an empty sqaure then a new zone means that the trees in that one square area are removed. EG. when you lay a road thru some dense trees it removes about 3 tiles wide of trees. not just the one.
-
Couple of questions: 1st how do you get that pixelated topographic map of the zones? 2nd In your tutorial on making farmland how do you get the tree density so think in a small space without dumping think tress on the farms themselves. I have tried using a smaller brush but it takes for ever to try to dense up a 1 tile wide line. And last, great job on the region. I am currently playing the digby map and can assure you it cannot compete with yours at all.
