Your city planning looks pretty good and i really like the historic downtown. I have a question, Does demand transfer between city tiles that have a seaport in both of them? With no road/rail connections, as i noticed that there was not a road connection to the tile you are developing (at least i didnt see one).

4x4 high density residential zones grow all day for me. There are quite a few with that lot size aswell. I would like to know what the best size to zone for hi-rise commerce is though.

Ive got my regional population at around 380,000 and the regional commercial capacity is at around 140,000. My tax rates for commerce are 9% for all CS and 6% for all CO. The demand bars for CS are constantly maxed out and the demand for CO fluctuates positive and negative. I have zoned high density commercial areas in the centre of my cities and also slapped a landmark (back of china and bank of america) aswell as a lot of plazas in each commercial district but all i have seen so far are stage 7 office buildings. I also have airports dotted around the region. Im pretty sure i meet the criteria for stage 8 CO skyscrapers and and confused as to why i have not seen any grow in my cities yet. Any help/advice would be appreciated.

Hi, ive been refering to Simtropolis for quite some time now but havn't ever posted on the forums., until now. Ive played SimCity Classic, 2000, 3000, 4 + rush hour and Societies, just for some background. I need some guidance regarding how to make a region map that only consists of the large (4km x 4km) city tiles. I have read the post on the omnibus but im still not sure how to go about doing it. I understand the thing about RGB 0-0-255 and such, but i do not know where to put this into practice. Some help would be very appreciated
