  1. I'm playing SC4 Deluxe on a Windows XP Pro SP3 system. I have installed the official update from Maxis, then added on the NAM (correctly installed) plus a few small other tidbits. In SOME (about 10%) of my cities as I first start developing many areas in a city map will post the car zot over zoning. I does not seem to matter how many roads or streets are touching the zones in all the right locations, nor what order I zone and build streets, nor matter how many times I dezone and start over. Most recently I tried building a garbage dump in a city and I got this problem. For the Hell of it I built some residential zones around the same area to see what would happen and lo! They developed! The garbage dump still had the car zot and refused to work. The only solution I've found is to "obliterate city" and start over. It's begining to get bloody annoying. Your help is appreciated!

    Unfortunately in my install I once waited 6 game years for the zots to go away on some residential zoning of mine. They never did. Had to obliterate city. Bagh. Well thanks for the info. Sorry if I sound ungracious.

    Well, I am pleased with the city devestating powers of N_O_Body's anitmatter power plant (though as I PM'd him it'd be nice if the blast radius extended to 40 tiles and fire radius to 200 tiles). However, I'd like a UDI mod airplane that had a bomb function that did the same thing. Say a B-29 or better yet, B-52 launchable from say the largest ingame airport class. Alternatively a nuclear missile strike mod disaster would be great fun for working out the "frustrations of mayor." Speaking of which, the existing meteor disaster doesn't have a wide enough blast zone for impact of an object its size, no where near realistic. Just thought of one other mod that would work well in the next NAM. Streets should also be able to make neighbor connections. Right now in my agricultural empire I have to used road segments at the edge of my maps to connect my ag streets across town boundaries. Not realistic. Thanks people!
