This sounds like the most probable source for your trouble. Could you please give an example of your NAM folder's full path? What was the previous NAM version you were using? I don't believe the installer has changed the location of the z___NAM folder since that folder was introduced. That's actually rather unlikely. In your main NAM folder, you'll find a file called "install.log". Open it up in your favorite editor and search for "z___NAM". That should tell you immediately where that folder is. Thanks for your help. Turns out that because I wasn't installing it in my default plugins folder, some of the sub folders were not being created properly, but now I got it working and z__Nam is found. Still having trouble with L3 starters and pieces not appearing though, I can post a picture if needed.

I don't use the default folder because I have multiple folders setup for different versions of the game I run. I install it to the plugins folder in each designated game though, and up until this point the auto-install has never had a problem. I have also tried installing it to a dummy plugins folder on my desktop to isolate the problem but still no luck. Permissions are all fine. Also I am having additional problems with L3 ramps not appearing and other glitches like that. I think they might all be connected.

Hey guys I am having trouble with the NAM 32 installer. I downloaded it from MODDB but when I go to install, the installer fails to create the z__NAM folder and all of its contents. That causes me not to be ablet o install the maxis highway override, bullet train, and road textures. Is anyone else having this problem or know of a solution?

What sea wall are you using? -
If you break down the video, its obvious that this is not even close to the final product that will ship in February: Roads not complete, look at :17 where the cars are all over the road. Someone complained about too much space between buildings. At :20 you see a car driving on grass - shows they obviously haven't finished putting in driveways and other ground textures in yet. Look at :41, the way the highway just goes into the airport - you really think that maxis would ship a game like that? Why they went ahead and debuted a trailer with so much left unfinished is suprising, but I wouldn't worry folks - there is still a lot to be done here and its clear the roads, buildings, and textures are still very much in development.

Your cities are amazing. Where did you get those seawalls though? I have searched everywhere for simple concrete seawalls and they look great in your cities.

Highway and NAM Puzzle Piece Walls

Are there any other attempts to make the elevated roads and avenues walled like were done in this project? This was a great idea, and something that is applicable regardless of whether you use the RHW or old Maxis Highways. If anyone knows of another similar project, or wants to help me convince Xyloxadoria to try and release this , please let me know. -
While I agree that SCS is definitely a step in a different direction, somehow you make it out to be a huge conspiracy to kill the Sim City franchise. As you said, the goal of EA Games is to be profitable - but you don't become profitable by pissing off the entire community. I am as disappointed in SCS as the rest of you, but you must understand EA was simply trying to come up with something different but successful. I mean look when Sim City originally came out, it was completely different and unique and because of those characteristics it was met with great success. All I'm saying is don't bash the studios and EA and make them out to be evil or intentionally trying to ruin your Sim City gaming experience. Instead, try sending them emails and explain to them how much you want to see the Sim City series progressed in a way that doesn't trail from the existing realism and quality Sim City 4 brought to the table. They aim to make you happy, so why not help them do that.
