Snowk'ie Ski Resort
ry_anders posted a City Journal entry in Visitors guide to the region of Starland
Snowk'ie is a ski resort found in the midst of a sleepy village. The area is home to large mountains, rivers, and wildlife. Several resort type developments have popped up over the years. Anyone visiting snowkie will agree that is is a great year round resort town. The winter months offer great powder for snowboarding and skiing. During the summer golfing, mountain biking, and hiking are available. Road leading to the ski resorts. Downtown -
Stampede Valley was the workings of a major developer. The developer sent out brochures to city dwellers claiming that the country was calling their name. The brochures used phrases like “Let the cowboy inside you come out”, “Lands a bargain in stampede valley”, and “Don't miss your opportunity to live in Stampede Valley. Only a few lots left ... beautiful mountains and spacious lots to roam the wild”. The front cover of the brochure showed the city center with the large railroad station. The advertising worked as hordes of city folk came out to claim a piece of wilderness. The community even built a county fair park, which hosted the top rodeos in the land and had the best deep fried snicker bar. In the end many of the original buyers were found to be unfit for country life. So the logging industry stepped in and offered to buy the lots from the gullible and midlife crisis city dwellers.

Further up the river from Bay of Biscay is the city of Nauvoo. Nauvoo is mostly an agriculture area with a small city along the river. With constant threats from natives the city was placed in a protective location. With the river on one side and mountains on the other the city becomes fortified. Now a day the original threats are gone, but the city remains mostly unchanged. Modern Development and Freeways now go through the surrounding area. The Freeway is sunken to lessen the visual impact, and the new neighborhoods are reached only by the bus and train systems. Promoting mass transit within the city.

This is great, i love that you show the real aspects of a city. -
Bay of Biscay was the founding city in the region. The early settlers built of fort upon arriving to the new region. The fort has now been turned into a museum and is part of the city park system. Bay of Biscay has grown to a population of 112,000, yet the city leaders strive to preserve the historic charm. Much of downtown is a car-free zone. The popular Light Rail train system transports sims all over the city. T The city architecture, canals, and necklace shape city park have become a major draw for the tourist industry. . Baytown City Park runs along the waterfront of the historical district of the city. Before the park was built there were several civic and community buildings that existed along the waterfront. The park was built to provide a connecting greenbelt along the waterfront. Thanks for taking a look, please commit on your thoughts. One last picture of the country club.
