Further up the river from Bay of Biscay is the city of Nauvoo. Nauvoo is mostly an agriculture area with a small city along the river. With constant threats from natives the city was placed in a protective location. With the river on one side and mountains on the other the city becomes fortified. Now a day the original threats are gone, but the city remains mostly unchanged.
Modern Development and Freeways now go through the surrounding area. The Freeway is sunken to lessen the visual impact, and the new neighborhoods are reached only by the bus and train systems. Promoting mass transit within the city.
