I was thinking that it could create a style of gameplay this is more realistic. In real life, once a building is built, it's not usually demolished and rebuilt a few months later to something else. I'd like to at least try it out and see what effect it would have on gameplay. Of course, I'm not a modder, so I have no idea if it's even possible. Just thought it would be interesting...

Is anyone interested (or is it even possible) to make a mod that would make all buildings built in the game automatically checked as historical?

Duke87: He's been the "King of Pop" for about 25 years. Maybe you should re-evaluate your music categories. Besides, pop just means popular, and he was definitely one of the, if not the most popular musicians in the world.

How do YOU name your cities?

I'll take a state and name my cities after the really small towns in that state. -
I plop residential buildings all the time and they never abandon. What do I do? I zone the area for residential (for me, I doesn't matter what density) and let something grow on it. Then I plop a new residential building on top of that one. I also have the no abandonment mod (which I'm pretty sure is the difference). Other than that, things like bus stops and short commute times don't matter. The sims behave as normal. I hope this helps!

San Francisco is amazing. It has a great blend of architecture and natural scenery.
