Ferries are an excellent option in your case.

This happens many times!! It's not a bug at all. Patience is the key here!! @ Zorbane: Hey there! Your problem could be that your city no longer can satisfy the requirements of the University. This happens in case you happen to save and exit the city and then replay the city at a later time. The same is the case for all rewards.

I had contacted thy451 a long time ago. He had told me that the HTML version could not be completed because of some personal/technical reasons. Also he had not attempted a Rush Hour Guide at the time. However the original guide is really great and very helpful. The analysis that he has done is simply mind-blowing!! A Big Thanks to thy451!!

Here you go... The Simcity 4 Guide : Version 2 is hosted on Gamefaqs.com . You can download it here . It is a text version though.

I have noticed that when a sim commutes to neighbour city, the commute time is always long. No matter how close the sim and the job actually are!

886 years is my record! That too on a failed city! My current city is exactly 300 'years' old as of now!

is there a cheat to get a lot of money for me?
KoolSIM replied to curtskinn's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
I agree with N_O_Body and Compromise! The game is not very difficult to play without cheats. Like N_O_Body says, just check out the Omnibus . Plus you will feel a sense of satisfaction when you create a beautiful and realistic city without cheating. -
I just discovered a trick with the NAM puzzle pieces
KoolSIM replied to Rochefort's topic in SimCity 4 General Discussion
Though I knew about it a long while ago, your presentation about it looks fabulous!! -
There may be any one of the below solutions: You may be missing a 'dependency'. A dependency is a file or a set of files (usually props and textures) with which a Lot/BAT is created. Check the description of the downloaded building for any of these dependencies. Your Graphic Settings may be set at 'Low'. Turn them back to 'High'. Note: You need Simcity 4 : Rush Hour OR Simcity 4 : Deluxe Edition for most of the BATs/Lots to work.

I really am impressed by Fox and MasterPlanMan's waterfront pictures. I would love to live in one of those apartment complexes there!!

Date: 2/9/2006 11:23:05 AM Author: Aurabolt12 When I installed the NAM, I chose 2xCapacity, 10x<something else, i can check later if it's important>. Should I have chosen Standard instead? I haven't even played SC4 since I installed the NAM but I'm afraid it will make the game too easy and I won't feel the sense of completion if I'm going to play it legit.. Thanks. This is my first post on simtropolis, btw. quote> It's your call. However, I don't think the game becomes too easy by using the NAM. You still have Budget Balancing, Making Realistic Cities, etc. There are a lot of things you can do in the game! Enjoy!!

Date: 2/9/2006 12:39:57 PM Author: Zekumas So far not a single download I've gotten has a Readme.txt in it. One did but it is in Spanish and I can't read Spanish.quote> As I mentioned above, when there is no readme file present, you can download it to any of the below mentioned folders: My Documents\Simcity 4\Plugins Program Files\Simcity 4\Plugins

...........In short, the Network Add-On Mod is a much needed addition to the game. It addresses commute issues and introduces new transport system options.

I don't think that the whole city should be kept as one big slum. Certain pockets consisting of rich sims should be included in every city. According to me, each and every large city should have a mixture of R

There are three ways of Making Region Maps in Simcity 4 which I know of: To terraform each and every city square. To use the Landscape Designer program. You can download it here . To follow MallowTheCloud's awesome tutorial . (With which you can make Real-World Maps!)

Date: 2/8/2006 10:14:54 PM Author: TheMan What if your city is not adjacent? Say you have a small 'city' between two large cities. The small city just has a highway. I can't seem to get the SIMS to travel through the small city to the larger one to work...quote> Check for any broken links in your transport system. See that the Highway System is connected properly to both your cities. I don't understand what else could be the problem. It has always works fine for me.
