I really like this CJ and am interested in seeing how it develops, but I have one question: How come you chose the route number 601 for the foothill freeway instead of 192 which runs along Foothill Rd. in real-life Santa Barbara? Keep up the great work and the updates!

I live about 35 miles from Sacramento and am very interested to see your progress. I downloaded a Sacramento region map with the idea of making a semi-accurate region, but didn't feel like spending the time on it right now. Instead, I am making a region of random sprawl on a different map. Maybe I will make Sacramento eventually.

I have enjoyed reading your journal very much and can't wait to see your next project. I am quite impressed with the accuracy of the region. I live not too far from there, so I head into SF occasionally, and your representation is great.

The region looks very nice so far. I agree that the transportation network looks realistic.

Permanently bottomed-out environment rating

I have this too. My other ratings are all fine, and I checked the environmental advisor, but she doesn't say anything. I have dirty industry in one corner of the map, but otherwise limited pollution and have tons of parks. -
It's on Highway 13 (Ashby Ave. / Tunnel Rd.) near Claremont Ave. north of Hwy. 24

I got one of those too!

Your region looks really good. I started building a Bay Area region from the map included with the game, but I haven't tried to be accurate. Keep up the good work!
