Today we head southeast of downtown to the Royal Lakes. This area is home to the Old City and was the original seat of Government. First up: The main lake. Six temples and holy sites are along its banks along with the old Royal Palace. Today it's becoming a hotspot for not only tourists, but locals and many new buildings are being built next to it. Hello! You're all in store for a big update! First up a view looking south over the CBD and the tallest buildings in the country Next we look at Shin Paou Park right across the Bay from the CBD. It features a state of the art theatre and many of the government buildings Now we go out onto a peninsula which used to occupy many fishing docks and the largest slum area in the nation.
