About this City Journal

Welcome to Bultan, a rapidly urbanizing region located in the far east. An ancient land with a huge population which is now quickly becoming one of the largest middle-classes in the world after years of poverty under colonial rule. A change to democracy in the last century has fueled change and Bultan is becoming a new world power.

1 Million Sims

Growth has been slow in recent months, not as much free time to spend on building up my regions. I should however hit 1 Million inhabitants on my next play through. The image attached shows the southern coastal cities of Takodana, Lessu and Changi as well as the current region population. Building Bultan

My Bultan region is growing slowly these days with lots going on in the real world but looking to get back on track and complete this region over the next year. With the first two major cities revealed and 5 more currently in the works and nearing completion I'll ask you which one should I focus on, finish and share next? Now that I've introduced the first two major cities of my region located on the south coast, I have begun work on two large cities in the north situated on a long narrow bay (inlet?) and am now working on some of the smaller cities that lay between them to form a mega-region. Lessu

The second city we will visit is Lessu. Located immediately to the west of Changi on Lion Bay, the two cities have now both sprawled out in to one continuous megacity. Lessu historically has been an agricultural and fishing village, only in recent decades has it begun to attract residents of Changi looking for more affordable living. The first city we will visit is Changi, a large economic center on the southern coast, in sits on Lion Bay along with it's sister city to the west Lessu. Previously known as Lion City when it was established as a Special Economic Zone under colonial rule, it was recently transferred back to the Bultanese government and has continued to flourish.
