Welcome to the first update for Atarashima, you've seen the teaser and now it's time to show you what it truly looks like. In every update, a map will be provided showing you where we are for this update. A reply block will also be made soon to keep in touch with your comments Also, since you don't know much about Atarashima yet, we will provide you a map of the districts in Atarashima. Last week, Atarashima was battered by a strong storm, Tyhpoon Nohakai. It hit Shihaisha, Japan, Okatabawashi and heaps other countries in its path before hitting Atarashima. Before the Typhoon! During the Typhoon! After the Typhoon! Today... (I've been fixing up parts of Atarashima )

Well, first off before we start, I'd like to say a few words. I never thought that I would have won to be the host city for such a big event like the Simlympic Games. At first I thought, hmm... maybe I could win? But then I saw Galanos! Whoa that was one heck of a good bid K50! I was certainly doomed... Ok... lately we haven't been back to the busy streets of Atarashima have we? So I guess it's time we return back to Mid City Island. Last time we saw Mid City Island was only the southern tip of it, over the next couple updates we'll take a look at the parts of Mid City Island. B1A4 - Baby Good Night This update will be the last on Yamasenki Airport for a while as next time we explore more of the suburbs so hope you enjoy this one An Air France aircraft about to taxi towards the runway as it leaves for Paris. Atarashima is currently working hard to host the best Opening Ceremonies of the Simlympic history! Now Atarashima brings you a sneak peek of Kagyoma Park! All aboard Update 3! In this update we take a look at the Atarashima Rapid Transit System (ARTS). The rapid transit system spans the whole city-state of Atarashima, a total of 154 subway stations and 27 tram stops located at every corner. 76% of commuters use the ARTS as their main transportation. The system operates from 5am until 1:30am every day and they are extended during festive seasons. To find your way around the network, here is a network map of the ARTS. Now, in the last update there was no map as I was changing the map to make it more realistic so I apologise but we now have a new map! Trucks pass by as the rice continue to grow...
