A short teaser for the Christmas season!
Last week, Atarashima was battered by a strong storm, Tyhpoon Nohakai. It hit Shihaisha, Japan, Okatabawashi and heaps other countries in its path before hitting Atarashima.
Before the Typhoon!
During the Typhoon!
After the Typhoon!
Today... (I've been fixing up parts of Atarashima )
This will be my last update before exams
(Not much since I have exams coming up)
After a great event, we now see some of the lights in Atarashima Harbour!
And that is it for now! Don't forget to comment and rate
Just a brief look at the Simlympic Cauldron
Well, first off before we start, I'd like to say a few words. I never thought that I would have won to be the host city for such a big event like the Simlympic Games.
At first I thought, hmm... maybe I could win? But then I saw Galanos! Whoa that was one heck of a good bid K50! I was certainly doomed... I knew straight away that Galanos would win this but for some reason, it didn't... I was really surprised when Joe90 posted that ISC Session, I was speechless, literally speechless.
Everyone's bid was truly special, even if it wasn't complete, it was special. Congratulations and thank you to every bidder!
I also need to mention these following people for helping me out with the Simlympic Games, especially the Opening Ceremony.
First off, Carl (111222333444), thank you so much for helping me with the Opening Ceremony, that fireworks pack you sent me was amazing! You also helped me with some of your special secrets for these Opening Ceremonies so thank you very much!
Ace/10000000000000, wow the editing you did to the stadium was incredible! It is very awesome. Thanks Ace!!
David (Huston), thank you for also helping with the Opening Ceremonies and photoshopping those beautiful Stadium pictures with your special editing skills, they were really awesome for the Opening Ceremony!
JJ/JJ1, thanks for helping with the torch relays during the busy time, that really helped me relieve my stress.
Zack (woodb3kmaster), you deserve a very big thank you! Providing me with your wonderful tips and opinions really made the Opening Ceremony possible. As well as rendering the 'prop' was a great help for the Opening Ceremony! Glad to have someone like you helping me!
Greg/TowerDude, though you help me with making these games possible I want to thank you especially for the 'prop' that you made with your great architect skills and you will definitely be an expert in that area!
And last but not least, Joe90! You have really been helping me along the way and giving instructions to make this a really wonderful Simlympiad!
Hopefully everyone enjoys the Opening Ceremony and I realise it’s not the best Opening Ceremony ever but it’s the highest of my abilities so please enjoy... (The OC contains more than a hundred images in total so please be patient and let it load)
Comments and thoughts are welcome! Thanks!!
A little teaser... ^.^
As the big event comes even closer, Yamasenki Airport becomes busier by the day with many Simlympians coming from every country and also the spectators who have come to watch the events.
See you again soon!
Welcome to a special update! If you haven't found out yet, Atarashima will be the proud host of the 17th Simlympic Games! Atarashima is currently working hard to host the best Opening Ceremonies of the Simlympic history!
Now Atarashima brings you a sneak peek of Kagyoma Park! Kagyoma Park was perviously in Update 4 where it was still a bit mysterious... Today it is a busy centre preparing for the big event.
Hope you liked the small teaser.. Sorry for the lack of updates.. Really busy with the Simlympics so I hope the Opening Ceremony will take cover for that
Atarashima Pop (A-Pop) band 6TARS today made their debut!
Welcome to our 11th update! This time our location is Newport. Newport is an area that has had some redevelopments over the past years to make the area more pretty. There are also some estates in Newport which we will look at over the next updates.
Feitsu Towers are a well known estate in Newport and have beautiful views of Minato Bay. Feitsu High School is located nearby and serves for many students living in the area.
Hansy University is a famous university that offers one of the finest education in Atarashima.
And the last picture for today.. A night shot of Feitsu Towers and an ARTS line where elevated meets underground.
See you next time

This update will be the last on Yamasenki Airport for a while as next time we explore more of the suburbs so hope you enjoy this one
An Air France aircraft about to taxi towards the runway as it leaves for Paris.
The casino is quiet as the passenger movement in the airport settles down.
The Airport Road towards T4 is dead as no planes arrive into Yamasenki.
Goodnight Yamasenki Airport!

Last time in Atarashima we saw a teaser. Today we take a look at Atarashima Yamasenki International Airport or just simply Yamasenki Airport. The airport is a major and busy airport in Asia and is a hub for many airlines including Atarashima Air. Enough said, lets move on...
The airport is connected via Yamasenki Tollway which is a major tollway that connects the south-west area of Atarashima. At the end of the tollway, it becomes Airport Road.
As seen in the previous entry, this is the Airport Road where it becomes elevated. This section of the road is located adjacent to the Terminal 1 building.
Terminal 1 - Located at the south of the airport is Terminal 1, this terminal handles flights for Europe, Americas, Africa, Veratlantea and Oceania. Currently it is the largest and busiest terminal in Yamasenki Airport.
Terminal 2 - Located at the north-east of the airport is Terminal 2, the terminal opened for flights within is East Asia however it was later changed to all of Asia.
Terminal 3 - Located at the north-west of the airport is Terminal 3, originally built for low-cost carrier airlines however due to the increase in flights from Atarashima Air, it is now operated by Atarashima Air.
Terminal 4 - Located west of Terminal 1 is Terminal 4, opened as Budget Terminal but was later renamed to Terminal 4. The terminal handles low-cost airlines inclusind Scoot and AirAsia.
Don't miss the next update as we continue to journey through the massive airport! Don't forget to leave a comment
Phantom - Burning
TEASER TIME!!!! MUAHAHAHAHA!!!
Now, in the last update there was no map as I was changing the map to make it more realistic so I apologise but we now have a new map!
Trucks pass by as the rice continue to grow...
The soothing sounds as the waves come in...
Wind breakers splits the course of the winds...
Families are preparing for lunch...
That is the story of living in rural Atarashima...
Thanks for seeing rural scenes of Atarashima! Next time, a teaser!
Yes you heard right, Atarashima is going rural! Though being a small island nation, the city-state lacks resources and rural areas are very hard to find as most of the island is all urban... This update will feature a mosaic, hope that's enough for today
Comments would be appreciated, thanks for viewing
K-Pop.. Atarashiman Pop coming soon
After a long wait from the teaser, finally an update! As said in the teaser a couple weeks ago, we are exploring the sites of Mid City Island. Though not much can be seen from above, down below there are a series of underground passageways which all link together and connect to various buildings. They are also known as the Atader which were taken from the words Atarashima and under.
Most of the buildings in the centre of Mid City island are connected by the Atader as it was aimed to decrease the pedestrian activity on ground level in the centre area.
That is all for today folks! Hope you have a great weekend and please don't forget to comment
SPECIAL SIMLYMPIC UPDATE
Bidding for the Simlympic's have begun and Atarashima is going full steam ahead with its hope of winning to host the fantastic Simlympic Games! This year is going to be tougher than ever with many bidders hoping to win as well. So please do hope that Atarashima can claim victory as we Ignite The Fire!
As well as to go along with this Special Simlympic Update, we'd like to share the latest image of Kagyoma Park.
Ok... lately we haven't been back to the busy streets of Atarashima have we? So I guess it's time we return back to Mid City Island. Last time we saw Mid City Island was only the southern tip of it, over the next couple updates we'll take a look at the parts of Mid City Island. Unfortunately my SC4 has been crashing, so today we its only a teaser Hope ya like it!
Ummm, would be nice if you leave some comments please, it's greatly appreciated
