Topeka residents have become sick and tired of the transportation networks. Statistics show that the number of people killed or injured through "T-Bone" collisions or other types of accidents at intersections, had doubled since 1988!

From this, "TCDOT" (Topeka County Department of Transportation) has spoken with the mayor of Topeka, and on February 18th 2009 a new ordinance was enacted that proposed half of all intersections were to be investigated. 3 weeks later, plans were drawn and a few intersections were converted to traffic circles.
