You will like it, There actually is a train station next to the clubhouse (You can see it at pic 17,18 and 19) AND: it's only ten minutes from the airport. (But a mountain blocks the noise)
@rewright: Thank you too ![]()

Heyho and welcome to the fourtythird update of my CJ Dragon Islands.
Today we will meet our JR0 again which came back from the depot to carry us from Shì Shuixí to the Dragon Islands international airport.
Well, here we are again... this must be the 6th or 7th pic of this station.
01

So... nothing much to say... let's leave the city.
Here we go, we cross the bridge. The traffic jam is very unusual for A3 at this hour.
02

This time we won't follow HR main line, This time we will follow the West DI Rail line.
03

Passing through the rice...
04

The tracks coming from the top are mostly used for freight trains only.
05

Some tunnels provide a very even way for the tracks through this mountainous island.
06

The track going to the bottom belongs to Songlín Line.
07

Some more pics between our last position and the rail station of Ying Yá can be found at the Songlín line entry.
Ying Yá. Our first and only stop.
08

Now we're entering the longest straight piece of rail in DI... until now. It's 9,5 kilometers of straight track. Speed is limited to 160km/h(100mp/h) because of the tunnels and small stops along the track. The road running along is still A3 in it's cheap buildt apperience, no need for a complete motorway over here.
09

10

It's straight...
11

...and straight....
12

...and straight
13

Now we're passing by at an industrial area...
14

15

Still straight ![]()
16

Finally! The long awaited curve.
17

18

Passing Jia xiàn....
19

Ey, this Velaro (CRH3) could not have appeared at a better second =)
20

Passing the depot again.
21

The track leaving to the left is taken by through trains to Lòng Chèng or farer to the east, it connects the rail line with the shinkansen station... (Well sometimes shinkansen, sometimes china highspeed train... Current vehicles in use: JR300,JR500,CRH1,CRH3)
22

23

Another Velaro at the best second =)
24

Approaching the Airport terminal.
25

Airport terminal, a 10 plattform station. Currently only 4 plattforms are in use but service will be increased as soon as the rail connection to the west is finished. The shinkansen trains stop at their terminal about 400 meters away, connected under street level.
26

Our JR0 leaves late at night after beeing diescovered and occupated per some hours by a group of railway fanatic tourists ![]()
27

A routemap(and even timetable)
28

By the way, normally HR uses theese vehicles for the airport train service... Something between JR 681 and a train for regional services.... My first SC4 trainskin... I call it HR-E1000:D
29

I hope you've enjoyed this update, greetings, Skimbo. =)
