OVERVIEW OF SOME GOVERNMENT BUILDINGS
Government buildings in Mindanao are primarily influence by Western architecture. Most government buildings are established during Spanish and American occupation and some of it are still functional at present. The government is making their own way to preserve the historical government buildings brought by foreign countries in the Island of Mindanao.
THE GREAT PALACE OF MINDANAO

BATASANG PAMBANSA (LEGISLATIVE HOUSE)

MAHARLIKA BUILDING (HOUSE OF AMBASSADORS)

REGIONAL TRIAL COURT OF DAVAO

NATIONAL ARCHIVES

MINDANAWON NATIONAL LIBRARY

...and finally, the City Hall of some major cities...

The 333 years of Spanish colonization and 40 years of American occupation has indeed brought great influence in the identity of the Philippines particularly in Mindanao. Part of this is what you see in their old government buildings.
