no higher buildings yet... this is a very modest skyline. it is based off several US cities.... modest skylines, and then sprawl..... once i get most of the sprawl laid out, i am going to focus on development, and  possibly a story line with development

I did not mean higher like the WTC for example... just a little i meant. Anyway i have been looking at your CJ and i do not get a thing.
Why did you lay out transportations before the growth of the city? You have immediately created some big road ring around the city, but i thought that comes when a city really needs. If i am not mistaking you have done some jump in the future of 20 years and then missed some part of the natural growth. So is this natural growth or not? Regards.

oh i know what you meant, but im going in a certain direction with my cj, and higher will come later. it is natural-esque growth. it is modeled after many many real world american cities and has the natural growth look. it is a recreation, not of one city, but american cities. i have a vision of what i want my "end product" to look like, and i lay out roads first. then i create the infill as i have imagined it. once i get it all there, i then treat it like a real city and grow it out from there. :)

I understand the way you create cities. I personally prefer to try a natural growth (i have started using this concept since last 2009 months) but everyone follows the concept which prefers. I believe this city, when completed, will look very realistic, i see you are an expert of these things and you have already done this some times if i am not mistaking. Keep up good work i wanna see how this will look like in the end.

yes, i have had many versions of parkland, and thank you for the compliment, it is very much appreciated. i believe the people who read my cj have enough patience to wait it out with me as i create parkland. it will take time and a lot of work, but i am confident i can do it, and hope readers stay tuned

Personally, I find you can make more realistic cities in the way this CJ is being created and is how I make mine as well. Keep the style and keep the look, cause its going great so far! Look forward to more!

Ya indeed, you hardly could make a more realistic young downtown. When it will expand in future it will have some shiny high buildings :P.

thank you, and that is the part i am excited about.... when it gets to the point where downtown expands and more nice highrises go in... that will be a little bit though :)

Nice downtown, really like the mid-rise buildings. Makes it look more realistic in my opinion. The parks on the riverbank look pretty cool too. Good work!

This is any outstanding CJ!!!!

Do you see posts on the earlier pages of your CJ or do I need to post all questions and comments on the last page?
Wondering if you are having any traffic congestion issues in your region?

Is this one large city tile or what size tiles are you using to make up the region?

I take it you can make that choice with Terraformer? I've never used it before. I'm tired of all these little tiny towns that you put a large park or something in it and the town is half filled already.

Any traffic problems with using only the large city tiles?

Thanks for your help!

thank you, it is much more than i would like to see in any downtown area, but it is modeled after real cities all over the country, so in the essence of staying true to realism.... ;)
