Trenton

stoney525: Thank you!
Thefunktopus: Those are part of SG’s farms, see Hidani’s comment (above) to check where to download them. Thank you, as well! I
guess when you make farms like that people either love it or don’t.
Mars250: Thank you for commenting! I hope you continue to follow my CJ!

Lets go to the newest development in BrookStone, a city that once looked like this…

Now is exploding in population, and has already solidified the #3 spot on the population charts, at 8,204 residents. We’ll pretend to be tourists, and start where most of them do – The BrookStone Regional airport (Serves American Airlines and Air Canada).

What is this new city here? Why, its Trenton, of course! Trenton was in fact founded because the BrookStone Region received state funds to make a regional airport. They didn’t have a location in their existing cities, so it was voted that the airport be built in an undeveloped city. Soon after, Trenton exploded with activity, and is now the #2 industrial powerhouse of the Region, after Lockheart.

However, Trenton is fast becoming a commercial city, with companies being enticed by the proximity to the airport. Medium-wealth residents are slowly taking place of low-wealth residents, and Dirty industry becoming High-tech.

Haha, Close-ups are my new thing.

This neighborhood is closest to the airport, and has the wealthiest businesses in Trenton. Its also home to a brand new Marina, which has attracted a lot of wealthier residents.

On a mesa above the industrial district is another suburban subdivision. Many wealthier residents are moving here as well, due to more high-tech industry becoming available in the industrial district below.

Remember the ship in the first photo? Well here it is again!

Many farms dot the coastline, mainly because they are the only flat areas in Trenton. Trenton’s main crops are corn and wheat, however these are soon to fade away, as many farms are being bought out to make room for subdivisions and new commercial districts.

Trenton’s newest development has the largest train station in the city, and is the new headquarters of a large fishing company. While we’re here, lets peek in on what the councils talking about…

This is where you can Vote! Trenton's council is debating whether to add a new spur to the existing line that runs through the city. The spur will serve the airport and industrial sector. Many say it can help with transport if passenger stations are added as well, and can double the effectiveness of the seaport and airport. However, others say that its not needed since theres already a seaport to transport goods out. Trenton has more than enough funds for this project, but it might disturb some neighborhoods. many are pushing for this to be built, so their commute can be easier.
Finally, an overview and extra shots which didn’t have any room in the main storyline, yay!

Some nice new tracks.

bad place for a shop, I say…

I’ve been working on the LRT line that was voted to be built in Tavlon, but I’m not quite happy with how it turned out. It doesn’t look as realistic as I hoped, and I’d like to know what you guys think. I can’t change it to be in the road, and subways are expensive. If you guys have any ideas about how to make this look more realistic, please let me know, all suggestions are welcome!

Well, that’s all for this update! A lot of photos and not a lot of talking, but, its cause this is a new city. Our journalist will be returning to here to check on developments, once he comes back, but for now, we have one more update until he returns.Until next time! (haha, i've always wanted to say that)
