Inangrahm

Paul5: Thank you! thats 1 vote for Inangrahm!
lordmungus: Thats ok, you were here for this one! About that 3rd city, it was supposed to be Trenton, located on the lake to the southwest. However i've focused on other cities so much that Trenton is not even developed yet. hopefully i'll do that in the next few posts and show you guys. Trenton is supposed to be a major contendor to Calgary. Oh, also, i'm bad with custom airports, but i'll try to download a small pack and begin, your Idea sounds really great! By the way, thats 2 votes for Inangrahm!
kingdiz_55: Yes, I realized this when I started building my region. A lot of my custom content has to do with transport mods, waterfront properties, or ploppables, all of my growable custom content in large buildings. However! in the next few posts you should see the proliferation of a new set of custom houses I dowloaded! thank you for commenting!
iGod: Thank you! I hope you keep checking out my CJ! there'll be more custom content where people recommend, or where I find Maxis spots.
Mars250: That is exactly what Trenton is supposed to be, a commercial center on the lake. I've just never got time to develop it. Also, i'm having trouble making something to make Trenton unique. An Airstrip is a good idea.
thefunktopus: Thank you for the comment! and thats one vote for Trenton!
Bergulf: Thank you for checking in, and thats one vote for Tavlon!
In other News: By popular vote, Inangrahm was voted to be the next update...so here it is! And, it seems like you guys kind of want to see Trenton start to develop, so i'll start on that for the next update! (Don't worry Bergulf, i'll snap some photos of Tavlon's new GLR line, I don't quite like the look of it, but if I show some photos, mabye you guys will have suggestions)

Lets fly on over from the bustling Calgary to a rather quaint town, which, in fact until recently, was the smallest town in BrookStone. Its Inangrahm! So, as we zoom into Inangrahm (because narrators always fly from place to place, of course) lets take a look at whats up…or down, from this viewpoint.

Inangrahm sits atop a small valley nestled between a mountain range and a ridiculously large hill. However, what makes this small town special is that its #1 export is….peanuts!

Yes, Inangrahm supplies the BrookStone region and even some of the United States with all the peanut butter imaginable, from two of the largest farms. Following peanuts in exports comes Flowers, and then grass. Inangrahm is home to around 1,000 residents, most of whom work alternatively in the flower fields, then peanut fields.

Here you can see the numerous small flower fields of Inangrahm, also note how close the residents are to the farms.

Grass is grown in 5 farms that surround the city center. It is in fact grown, then dug up to be used as lawn covering. The residents directed me not to tell about the silos which sit awkwardly in the middle of the field.

Given that Inangrahm is not exactly swimming in money, this is downtown. Not very flashy, but provides for the needs of the town quite well enough. Also inside downtown is the power supply, a diesel generator. Fire hazard here is ranked #1 in the region, mainly because the diesel generator has been running 15 years over its expected lifespan. Luckily…

Inangrahm is well supplied with water, need it be used. Also, construction workers could not build any farther up, and ran out of ideas, so they just stopped the road a mere 10 feet away from tower. No one really goes up there, so the residents decided to leave it be! Finally, a couple of shots of the remaining farms, such as wheat:

And corn, staple crops, you know

That’s all for this update, hope it was interesting! Also, a new set of custom houses is on the way, which if you look in the next post you’ll probably see a few of. I couldn’t grab any low-wealth houses, so that explains the maxis-galore as far as houses go.
Nothing’s being voted on in the actual city (reminder to self- make some more proposals) However! I’m going to try harder as far as realism goes, so if you guys have any suggestions on how to make my cities more realistic (try not to gear it towards custom content, I have a bad history with conflicts) they could be great, so thank you again for reading!
