Finally caught up with this CJ, and it's really good! Especially love how you handle the terrain differences (though obviously not as relevant on Turtle Island) - it's been a loooong time since I played SC4, but I don't remember it being easy to deal with the terrain :)

@ChappingtonThanks! It's come a long way, so I'm glad you like it. I'm unfortunately having to go back and delete old journals because I keep running out of space for attachments.

I always enjoyed working with hills and terrain in SimCity 2000, but it's much more challenging in SimCity 4 because the game is more realistic. It took some time to cultivate some different strategies that worked, but it's not so bad once you get some basic ideas down.

As always lots to see and very well done. I really like the mix of bats - the red roofed apartments lend a great tropical feel *:ohyes:

@mattb325 thanks for the kind words!! Most modern cities are layered with different styles and flavors which I wanted to express in the bats while also trying to keep a general tropical theme. Your bats have certainly helped as well so thanks for that!!

Such detail and wonder - I can imagine myself in one of many boats around the island. Sounds like a fun place live in! :8)

Keep up the excellent work as always! I love seeing these a lot.

@TogaMasterJohn Thanks for the kind words!! I always like to imagine myself in these cities and design things I'd like to do, so I'm glad to hear other people are doing the same :8)
