GLENWOOD
Welcome to Glenwood!
Nicked named "Park City," Glenwood is the third largest city in the Wade City Archipelago and the first journal for what's known as "The Mainland" part of the region. The city sits on the edge of Morningside Park and engages more than half the northern border of the park.
DOWNTOWN
Downtown Glenwood hugs the edge of the Morningside park and gives a juxtaposed urban backdrop to the tranquil nature of the park. The skyline views from the park have become quite the postcard view for people visiting The Mainland.

MORNINGSIDE PARK
With Glenwood Performing Arts Center, Midside Lake, White Oak Outdoor Theater, The Glenwood Zoo, and recreational sports such as biking, tennis, and baseball, the Glenwood section of Morningside Park is the most visited portion of the interconnected city park.

White Oak Outdoor Theater, home to the Morningside Music Festival, and Shakespeare in the Park, is one of the most exciting and noisy attractions for young people in the Archipelago and The Mainland, but quite intrusive for the older and affluent residents of the nearby Park Heights neighborhood. There have been many organized efforts to shut down loud, outdoor rock concerts and music festivals in the park by older residence, but this has been largely unsuccessful due to the high revenue from tourist these events bring in to Glenwood. As a compromise, White Oak and the city offer free "Shakespeare in the Park" performances, which is fun, family-friendly and educational entertainment and makes use of the venue every Sunday afternoon during the summer months.

ARCHWAY PARK
Continuing the reputation of "Park City," Archway Plaza sits at the center of Glenwood over the I-36 Highway and is home to the Glenwood Arch. The Arch symbolizes the welcoming history of the port cities of The Wade City Archipelago and their connection between "East and West."

LITTLE TOKYO
The Little Tokyo District is the largest Asian district in The Mainland and is home to some excellent street markets and a vibrant nightlife.

I hope you enjoyed the day-to-night gifs and the park designs. The next post will be sharing the full multi-city park design for Morningside Park and an introduction to some future city journals in addition.
Thank you for reading and don't forget to like this post!!
