From we last left off:
Suddenly, the volcano erupts:

The eruption isn't as bad as the last one, but the pyroclastic flow was what got the city.
The Eruption causes chaos. Then, the ash mixed with the weather, and produced ashy tornadoes. The city was in total chaos:

The earthquakes tore through town, and citizens ran for their lives. They fear that the volcano will explode again,
and tear up the island. Gas mains exploded and houses meltIed. I saw the ash covering the sky in the mayor's mansion front yard. The ground was shaking, and lightning struck.
Suddenly, I saw a meteor? No...  it was a Super Hot Lava Bomb! They do occur in real life, and it was heading straight for me!

It got closer:

And Smashed into my house!
The next morning:

Half the town is destroyed. The rest of the city is left without power and water.
One hundred people were nearby, and saw it. Once things were a bit calmer, word spread, the whole city soon knew that
the mayor of New Volcano City was dead!? Stay tuned for part 3...

Hi, volcanologist-in-sub-training here. Good job, this looks awesome. I loved the town before the mountain did a Montserrat , shame of what happened.  Now, I suggest placing multiple tornadoes at once for a pyroclastic flow effect. Btw; In large volcanic eruptions pyroclastic flows leave huge deposits of volcanic hash and pumice 100+ feet deep. This is called ignimbrite, or tuff when it welds together. I suggest going into God mode via cheats [ look it up] and completely raising the landscape where pyroclastic flows  have struck. Also, volcanoes always have a period of calm before a major blast; it's when the pressure is so high that the gas can't escape through fumaroles, and it just builds to breaking point. It's also a good plot device.

rocketoink: Thanks for the tips! There was a few earthquakes and then everything was calm. Then, that's when the volcano erupted.
It's unpredictable.

As a kid, I bet you loved to burn ants with a magnifying glass.

You are a sadistic mayor - which is probably why I am knee-deep in this CJ and keep turning the pages :)

Well done.

@yano_jl: I'm not a sadistic mayor, I just did this for your entertainment. I build beautiful cities, and back them up before the disaster. I hate inflicting pain on others
