The developed areas of Canaan are nestled between the Burke River to the north, and the Bentham River to the southeast. 

The majority of Canaan's citizens live in one of three urban centers: ALPHA, GEKKO and COLUMBIA. There is, however, a thriving suburban and rural culture in the region as well.

Canaan's first city, ALPHA, is located near the mouth of Montaigne Bay. To the south, GEKKO City promises excitement for residents and visitors alike. To the East, Canaan's capitol city, COLUMBIA, is located on the banks of the Bentham River.
