Overview ~

A glimpse into the later future as a seemingly routine investigation on the colony of Akuze commences. But there's still a long way before this seemingly unfortunate future crosses into John's sketchy life.

Note: I have one more exam Anyways, with the name change, the prefixes in each update will now indicate whether the system is in the Milky Way (TMW) or Andromeda (AND). Simple as that. Also been playing around with graphics. I keep changing them just so they look better. This new planet display is closer to the trailer design of the galaxy maps. Another thing is that Akuze's apperance in previous updates has now changed to a more accurate design of the spaceport area. It looks waaaay better now

Perched atop the Brooklyn bridge, John looked out at the city skyline in wonder. There was little else one could do at this time of night, and considering the state of the slums in Brooklyn, sometimes he thought it was just better to get a way from it all. The bridge was a great place to settle. He'd sit at the balcony on top of the bridge, prying the old metal doors to to get in.

And when he had nothing else to do, he'd think. About anything. Everything. More so about what he'd do. Being in a gang like the Tenth Street Reds was hardly a future. Even as a child, he knew he wouldn't last if he'd stuck by. There had to be a way out of this life.
