(First of all, thank you very much to all of you who commented and liked my previous posts of the 1900 report!)

I also have to warn you, this post is very very long. :ducky:

Hi everybody!

here it is, the 1915 report !

So, to put back the context, remember that Krongans has a new governor since 1899, Clément Simon, son of French immigrants.

He has been re-elected in 1910 (they moved the election one year forward), and is now running for the next elections of 1920 for a third (and last because it's the maximum authorized) mandate.

He really gave a dynamic touch to Krongans, especially Krongans city, and managed to put Mid-Krongans back under his power. Mid-Krongans has been founded by an English nationalist (Robert Cooper) in the origin, who didn't accept anybody else than British people in his town (God save the fool). Unfortunately, different people went to live there, and then he went up to the north and founded North-Krongans. (Do you remember now?).

North-Krongans is still kind of independent in 1915. They are actually independent from the Krongans governance, but are directly attached to the UK. And there are only British people in this city of around 24,000 inhabitants in 1915 (there are a lot of nostalgic British in Krongans).

Anyway, let's move on and take a look at Krongans City in 1915. The city has about 105,000 inhabitants, and is starting to be a very attractive place.

Simon finished what his predecessor started by moving away the dirty industry on the other side of the forest.

But he also encouraged research (and discover) of a thing that is going to be very important in the next decades for the Falklands: OIL!!!

It appears that a huge oil field exists in the Falklands, especially just right next to Mid-Krongans.

Simon created the Krongans National Oil Company (KNOC) and started to extract the oil from the soil.

The Crown of England didn't miss that (of course), and Krongans has now to supply UK in oil, in addition with coal, gold, and money, every year.

That explains that the economic benefits are not fantastic for Krongans, because a big part of the coal, gold and oil produced are directly sent to UK, for free!

It leads to an increasing feeling of unfairness among the population, that can't really enjoy the natural properties of the Falklands, and a certain idea of a totally independent Krongans started to be important in the population's claims.

We'll also go to see Philippstown, that completely lost any importance and influence in the Falklands, the city had been totally abandoned by the US government. It then followed a period of anarchy, with no official authority to rule the city. The criminality got multiplied by 20 in the following 10 years just like the rates of fires (accidents or not); the school closed, the electricity and water almost stopped running... Even the coal plant exploded one day that a fire started inside and that nobody went to extinguish it.

About half of the center has been destroyed by fires, and only a bit more than 3,500 inhabitants remain in the city today. There is one coal mine still functioning in the top north of the territory of Philippstown, which is the only activity left in the city.

That's it for the situation in 1915, now let's see the pictures!

You'll see in the orders: 1) Krongans City; 2) Mid-Krongans; 3) North-Krongans; 4) Philippstown.
