Downtown Part 2
Teddy City's spectacular downtown is among the most beautiful in the nation- Weekend traffic is low making for easy driving. Here you'll see the lack of cars on the downtown streets during a typical Saturday.

The Midtown Transition was built between 1985 an 1988 as a replacement for the original 1950's design. On workdays over 1500 cars use the transition per hour- in the 1950's it was only 100. In the 1970's that had multiplied to 500 cars per hour and by the mid 80's nearly 1000.

Residential zoning in Soudown (south of downtown). Here many people leave for work and take the transition or simply drive across the highways to nearby workplaces. If only it were that easy for the rest of us?

A mix of commerce and residential. This is north of the transition along the river.
Anyway that's the update. Hope you enjoyed.
