Thanks for the comments friends. Check this list to discover my little secrets, including the Terran Starcraft buildings ;)

Ready to visit New Earth again? Nothing better than a rebooted version of Earth, with small towns and space colonies here and there.

The Maxis cities Fulham and Kensington from Old Earth are also rebooted on New Earth as well. Everything on New Earth is new. New Europe, New New York, New Pacific Ocean, New Greece, New Eiffel Tower, New Tokyo... everything! So we have New Fulham and New Kensington as well. Let's have them a look.

London-1363616330_zps211fad50.jpg

Fulham was an ugly industrial zone, full of pollution and low efficient machines. Not anymore!

Those industries now use superior technology to make everything you wish, from food and homes to cars and computers. Some of the factories can also be rented by everyone. Want to make something big, but you can't do it at home? Come to Fulham and rent a factory! After use, the factory then can be rented by anybody else. The factories are modular, so they can upgraded and used for many proposes. 1 factory, many possibilities. Try to imagine what a lot of them can do.

Many goods will shipped to Kensington. Others will shipped in other places of New Earth. You need highways to connect the cities, but highways brings serious problems at the ecosystems. The best solutions? How about making the highways underground? Many of the trucks of Fulham use them to get the goods to other regions as well.

Other trucks will carry their cargo into this small seaport.

The river here is too small for large ships, so only smaller ships can use the seaport.

Fulham-10Jan201363619833_zps991bc385.jpg

However it's still big enough for a few large creatures to live here, like small whales. The ships have electric batteries, solar panels, hydrogen fuels, computers and non-propel propulsion systems. Thanks to those technologies, the waters of New Earth are save and clean.

Fulham is not just an industrial zone anymore. Many Sims are living in those 2 arcologies. For those who don't know, an arcology (architecture and ecology) is a large structure that contain a variety of residential, commercial, and agricultural facilities and minimize individual human environmental impact. Consider them as "cities in boxes".

Fulham also has nanorecycling system that recycles and upgrades the "garbage", as well as an airfield for short take off and land rescue aircrafts.

Fulham is surrounded by dense forest, with many beautiful and dangerous animals lurking around. If you think that bears are dangerous, maybe you never came close and personal with a tyrannosaurus. There are also some landmarks to visit, like the geothermal lake, the radio telescopes and the monument of Old Brown Earth. Well, this landfill refused to removed, so I turn it into a monument...

And now it's time to visit Kensington!

Kensington-21Nov261363622468_zps48e896a0.jpg

Kensington-21Nov261363622489_zpsdce10348.jpg

Kensington is not anymore an ugly town, but a beautiful green town with plenty of things to do.

Hydroponics, nanotechnology and genetic engineering are some of the techniques that upgrades the food production. There is no reason for the farms to pollute the environment and waste too much of everything, just to make low quality food.

As science proved, we're all citizens of the same planet. Countries and borders are useless and separates the people. But if you realised that the whole Earth is your home, you'll never feel homeless. I mean, you know that you're part of this planet, just like every human, animal and plant. Sims on New Earth knows that. This knowledge brings responsibility and freedom. Kensington is a good example, with out city recreation parks, autonomous villages and even underground roads that doesn't harm the beautiful landscapes.

If science brings wisdom and technology liberate us, what about death? Genetic engineering and nanotechnology killed the death and Sims can live for ever. But what about overpopulation and other problems? Nature was able to pack the pattern of life and intelligence into a tiny cell, too small for the eye to see, but with enough informations to create a Sim. What Nature can do, Sims also did it, in his own way. Genetics, quantum computers and nanotech allow the Sims to analyze and store all the informations that would define any specific Sim, and to use that information to re-create the original one. We're talking about computers that stores Sims themselves, the disembodied patterns from which they could be called back into existence. Thanks to those computers, Sims can live for as many times as they want, killing the Reaper himself! Death is dead.

Kensington-29Dec261363622985_zps6255ffee.jpg

And like Fulham, Kensington also have some interesting places to visit, from fairs and vertiports to water facilities and ancient ruins. Like Mars, New Earth also has remnants of ancient alien races. Who knows what's coming up...
