Ben's Top Ten +10: CJ Section

I am surprised that Simland didn't make it in the 10+, I was sure it's return would at least get me to place 20.

Anyways, congrats to everyone. New SorGun a pretty darn good quality this week in only three pictures.

New SorGun is an excellent CJ. The entry this week was outstanding. I also would like to congratulate SimCoug.

Wow. I really didn't expect this poll to garner so much attention, but it is exciting to see all the participation by the community. Now I really feel pressure to follow it up with a something special. Thanks again for keeping this list going, Ben.

I am not upset, but I found it strange considering that my entry had more views, votes and comments than some of the CJs ranked in Ben's +10.

Well I can't blame someone, and no one knows how Benedict calculates the rankings, except him of course, so I will let the issue rest in peace and carry on.

Hi.

Although it is true that only I know the entire formula, I have referred to the general principle of how it is determined a few times. The rankings are only based on unique non-author comments per author update (i.e. views and votes are not included in the formula). The previous 3 weeks' scores also count towards your score on a decreasing scale. I checked your place this week - number 27, so getting close! An update with replies next week will most likely see you climb into the +10, although if it is a particularly 'busy' week with many CJs generating many replies then it may be tougher to crack the list.

Simcoug had made a great cj, one of the most unique and the most interesting to see ))) Totally agree.

What a strong list there, it's interesting how few of the Top Ten have trixies though, in the past it used to be more common to see Trixie winners up there. I think they'll be a close battle for many of the prizes this year!

I have a few earmarked for Trixies I'll be voting for. So much good stuff on the list, as always!

N1 NewSorgun! I don't really see this Top 10 list as a competition, well not anymore. For me it's more an indication of how involved our community is and how productive our CJournalists are. I love weeks where it is just so hard to know which CJ is going to be number 1 because there are so many worthy ones.

Great list this week, I give thanks to NMUSpidey for reminding me that all our favorite time of the year is maybe close at hand. I can't wait till next week. Happy CJing everyone.
