Town of Blanco, the historic center.
.
The Town of Blanco was established in 1899 as a simple way point for travelers up and down the coast. It grew rapidly into a town of over 1000, and now houses around 3000 as it slowed down greatly around 1930. The historic downtown is the towns main showcase, that and the harbor, and the fact that it calls itself the 'gateway to Cape Blanco' here we plan to stay for the night in the 'Main road hotel'.
Here just after entering the town we reach the start of downtown.
Here on the corner of Main and 4th is the Main road hotel were we will stay.
The next morning, the shops are open around 9:00. And we head to the local coffee shop.
Woh! it looks like the town has some Atlantic style buildings as well, we will get some items for the next drive here, I think we are going to Last brook then.
