Grand plans for the rail terminal, and wasteland demolition!
The Downtown Terminal has done good service for over 100 years. It opened when the Willow Valley was just a town to transport sims to the industries in the east. Over time most of the jobs have moved to the Downtown area. Because of this there has been a proposal to demolish the terminal and extend the line into a tunnel under the downtown area with 3 underground stations, then link up to the surface line that runs around the edge of the city at the other side...
With industries leaving the city, miles of wasteland have been left empty. In an effort to reduce pollution in the city a lot of the empty factories have been demolished and trees planted their place.
Elevated rail line in the north west...
Suburbs...
Highrise homes...
New towers in Downtown...
