Now this is what I call "Heavy Update". Upgrading of Logic-2 is ready and now you can enjoy it in 90 pictures! No I'm not kidding. I promised 90 pictures, you have 90 pictures

"Insanity is often the logic of an accurate mind overtasked."
Oliver Wendell Holmes
SimTerrans, SimLunars and SimMartians decide to make flags for their worlds. This is the flag of planet Earth. The flag is inspired by the astrological symbol of Earth, a circle with a cross inside it. The flag has green and blue colours, representing the air, water and land of Earth. There are also 8 red, yellow, green and cyan dots that symbolise the ancient and modern civilizations, from Ancient Greece to United States of America. In generally, this flag symbolise the need of peace and harmony on Earth.

This is the flag of the Moon, grey like the Lunar surface. The above circle has 2 crescents, the traditional symbol of the Moon. It looks a bit like the Sun with those "rays". It's a symbol of the god Apollo, a tribute to the Apollo Program. The black shapes below creates a arrow that represents the future, and 2 hands that represents diplomacy.

And this is the flag of planet Mars. The red dot represents the planet itself, with a replica of the symbol of Earth as a tribute to the first explorers. The green circle represents the terraforming of planet Mars. The blue lines symbolize the technological and spiritual revolution on Mars, while the black background represents the unknown history of the planet.

In the last 20 years, SimMartians made a lot of progress to build the new Eden. Mars is now a caterpillar, slowly transforming into a cosmic butterfly. Martian lifeforms, ruins of ancient alien civilizations, terraforming of Mars, resource-based economy, cybernated government, evolution to Homo Superior... Mars is the paradise of scientists, philosophers, artists and explorers... as well as a very busy planet.

This spacecraft use a nuclear fusion reactor to transport good from Mars to Earth and Moon. Thanks to the nanotechnology, the engines become more powerful and efficient. A typical Mars-Earth voyage in 2064 A.D. (95 A.T.) needs some weeks, not months as some people believed in 2011 A.D. (42 A.T.).

Earth has a space elevator, so satellites are not so important anymore. Mars however can't have a space elevator, so satellites are very useful.

Thanks to the lo gravity of Mars, the red planet has a lot of space stations orbiting around it. Space stations provide the advantages of a gravity-free research environment. They are mostly automated and self-contained, to permit maintenance and self-repair without human intervention. The dangerous space walks are not necessary anymore. These space stations arr able to monitor the Martian resources, as well as facilitate further research in the fields of any kind of science.

Many other experiments are accomplishing in a gravity-free environment, especially in the areas of medicine, chemistry and nanotechnology. In addition, these space stations are serving as nodes in the worldwide telecommunications system of planet Mars, providing up-to-date information on the native Martian ecosystems, the position of all vehicles and other information pertinent to the inhabitants of the cybernated Eden.

Those space stations are vital for the communication of the central quantum computers of the mayor colonies. This creates a huge brain, large as Mars itself.

This is the central quantum computer of Logic-2. Cybernation is the linking of central quantum computers with automated systems. The central cybernated systems is coordinating all of the machinery and equipment that serve the entire colony and the whole planet Mars. One can think of this as an electronic autonomic nervous system extending into all areas of the social complex. For example, in the agricultures the central quantum computers are automatically monitoring and maintaining the water table, soil chemistry, and coordinating the planting and harvesting of crops. In the residential sector, the system is maintaining the environmental cleanliness and the recycling of waste materials.
With this technology, who need politicians?

Speaking about Logic-2... Welcome to Logic-2! This is the second colony established and now it's fully upgraded, back and better.

We can see that, just like Hope-1, Logic-2 has a lot of interesting places to live and visit.

And not inside the colony itself...

Take a Hummingbird, an ornithopter designed for the Martian atmosphere, and let's go for some exploration.

Here we can see the nuclear fusion power plants of the colony.

Sims need water, a lot of clean water.

There are no wastes on Mars. All "garbages" are going to recycle centres and incinerators. This facility turns the "garbages" into new products or burn them to provide heat for the colonists.

Logic-2 holds the larger spaceport on Mars, which contain 4 runways for the spacecrafts and the airplanes.

Logic-2 has a lot of ground and subway railroads. Sims here prefer the trains and the subway than their cars.

Sims need food but Mars is not so friendly with agriculture. With hydroponics, domes and genetic engineering, even a small farm can provide a lot of food for even a larger colony.

Most Sims live in the middle of the colony. Here you can see everything, from underground family homes to huge arcoruses.

Not all Sims however lives here. Some of them are living to the outside of the colony, in small communities or arcologies.

There are 4 parks in the residential zone, with schools and trail paths.

This is the Salvador Dalí Opera House, open for any artist who want to express himself - herself. Musician? Painter? This is your place.

This was the commercial zone of Logic-2, but now become a truly downtown. Here we can see skyscrapers and plazas, as well as apartment buildings.

This is the industrial zone, with a lot of factories and research laboratories. We can also see some shops and apartment buildings for the workers as well.

SimMartians doesn't want to repeat the mistakes of the past, so they have a lot of museums to remember the history of simkind. This museum contain also a holographic university of history and archaeology. Sims need to learn from their failures, in order to not repeat them.

Most SimMartians are atheists. Many other are Christians or Muslims or generally belong in any religion. No matter what however, all Sims will buried in the same cemeteries.

Sims love games and the low gravity of Mars is an excellent opportunity for playing. Higher jumps and running without tiredness are entertaining and very useful for the sports as well. Just imagine the Martian football...

This is the Percival Lowell Observatory. Like Faith-3, Logic-2 has also a tall astronomical observatory.

Unlike Earth, Mars is not suffering with wars. Troops however can be very useful for emergency situations.

The outside of the colony is full of parks and landmarks. Some Sims like to walk into the wilderness of Mars and watch the Martian plants and animals.
