Wendelheim has always been a small village, but was famed for it's hospital that was directed by nouns

Doctor Albert Haensler, founded the hospital with the nouns of the monastery, Doctor Haensler was an emminent Psychologist aswell as a brilliant doctor, he worked on Schizophrenia, at
Albert Haensler 1853-1918 (Basel - Wendelheim)he died on the 19 of November 1918 of after a serious pneumonia
After Albert Haensler, Hans Keldenger became the doctor, because Bietsthal became German whille WW2 he was set to go and fight and died in 1942
In 1958 the Monastery and the hospital reopened and Jaki Bauer became the head doctor until 1989 in 1989 Connrad Herlinger is still the headdoctor today
