Looks great! One thing though... you planing on a second runway? I would think an airport as major as that would have at least two runways, no? But once again, it does look really good.

HI There - This looks great
Where did you get the passenger terminal buildings?  looks like Terminal 5 at LHR and would be useful for a little project  i am working on

Wow, that's a great expansion! More or less that's the style expansion I thought, but I didn't expect the Kansai terminal here... Furthermore, cool graphs, cool statistics and cool maps; although I think you're having flights to too many places. I've counted more or less 28 gates in your airport, and you have flights to more than 50 destinations only in Europe! I guess it's OK to have more destinations than gates, but in my personal opinion, I think it's too much.

Oh, and thanks a lot for linking my FAQ on your link!

@mattc286: You can get the link to the passenger terminal on the FAQ clarkjordan12345 gives above.

Awesome expansion! I love the terminal, the parking lots, the graphs, the real-life pictures of KIX.. Great! I also notice that you've added azimuth indicators, which in my opinion adds even more realism to the airport. And like TheMentalist, I'm able to fly directly to Bergerland as well. Sweet!

@ringingducimer:  Thanks!  Glad you like it.

@pod61: Thanks.  You would think that the obvious thing would to be to build another airport. but there's still not that much traffic to be building another runway and it would probably ruin the charm of the airport to build another one though.

@Samerton:  Thanks xD  I try to make it as realistic as possible.

@matc286: Thanks.  It's not T5 but it does look similar.  Follow the link in the second comment :D

@TekindusT: Thanks, it's good we're thinking along the same lines lol.  Do you like the Kansai terminal?  Well, you would think that that would be the case, but remember, some routes don't get flown every day, e.g. there wont be a flight to Nicosia every day, maybe three times a week.  And the turning time for a B737 is just under an hour, so at peak levels, there can be about 20 aircraft using one gate every day. Some routes, e.g. to LHR, will have around 15 flights a day on it's own.  This is because LHR is a hub for Europe and America.  Here's an example:  Oslo Gardermoen has 39 gates, but has 107 routes.  Remember, planes don't fly between the same airport all the time they have a route of several airports to follow.  It's all very complicated xD

@TheMentalist:  We all can't wait to see you! :L  what city is it?

@panthersimcity4:  Thank you, took ages to place them all xD

@heitomat:  oh, that's fantastic, your name now makes sense lol.  Part of the name comes from Bergen, although that's quite obvious xD

Very good work, and realyl impressive and realistic airport. But I must say that I second Pod61, for these numbers of passengers is one runway not enough, but anyway, really great work.

Thanks.  But 1 runway at the moment is enough.  I'll bread down the numbers, 7,400,000 PAX, divide that by 365, that's 20,300 a day, let's say the average aircraft size is 180, that's 112 flights per day, roughly 5 an hour, now, considering we add the take-offs, that's 10 passenger planes an hour, then the cargo planes, maybe 2 an hour, that's 12 aircraft using the runway per hour, that's not that much, Glasgow Airport is about the same size, it has one runway, the same goes for Edinburgh, London Luton...  there will however be another runway built in the future, but at this time, there's no need for one.

I'm lost for words! My only suggestion is that you add Billund airport to the destinations, and remove Esbjerg. Both in Denmark. Billund is the 2nd largest airport in Denmark, but I'm not sure that there are any airport in Esbjerg.

Thumbs up!

Thanks, and I haven't forgotten Billund ;)  there will be a flight from Lillefjell airport, the other city.  And Esbjerg has a small airport, with 2 flights, 1 from Aberdeen by bmi and another from Stavanger by DAT.
