I just thought i'd start a completley new reigon.

But to make a grat reigon, you need great planning.
So here is the is the main plan for the reigon....

In The Center (the big square) there will be the inner city. filled with tall high rises and commercial offices.

In the South of the reigon there will be sunny beaches and luxury apartments wth great sports facilities, this will be the suburbs of the reigons center.

In the East there will be the airport sector wich is mainly filled with airports and sea ports with some medium and high wealth industry.

In the West of the reigon it will be mainly dirty industry and large manufacturing plants.  The West will also manage most of the reigons sanitation needs and power supplies.

In the North there will be mainly famrs and small country houses.  this area of the reigon will also manage some of the reigons water supplies.  But there is one unique thing about this area.......it has its own power supply through windfarms and other alternitive sources.

I will try to update soon and never keep you guys waiting to long.Enjoy!

Check the guide at the top of th CJ section - "A guide to creating a city Journal" Anyway, it sounds intresting. Are you going to do the terriforming as you go, or is it just flat terrain with the hill you showed?

here is a close up view of the first picture.

"The Devil's Horns" is what they call this mountain.

    477.jpg

here is the view of the tranquil east side of the village which is home to only a few residents and is populated with many beautiful trees.

The north avenue that leads out of the town to the north.

    684.jpg

    The new bay at Rocksfrond

    769.jpg

This is the southern avenue that leads down to the neibouring towns.  The over pass leads west.

    840.jpg

This is an ariel view of the whole city which has considerabley (excuse my spelling) grown.

The city i am currently working on is on the very top right corner of the reigon.  it is a medium sized square.

    I will be updating soon.

Here is my last update for the City of Rockfrond.

My next City will be the small suburban area of Fleetsvale

    929.jpg

this is the new state fair and its one way system around it.  There is also a road that leads into the southern city of Fleetsvale (soon to be built)

    1025.jpg

Here is the latest ariel view from the city from New Baltimore's finest helicopters at 10,000 feet.

In The Annual City Completion report our experts have confirmed the following information:

Rockfrond has an overall population of 542

Its only power source is through wind turbines

The West side is the most densly populated area of the city and has good connections to neighboring cities through sea transportation.

opening years of Fleetsvale, coming soon!!

Good start, but there's room for improvement.

First, I think that you should try to build less roads and less streets, because you need far less roads than what you built. A good thing would also be to destroy the steepest roads, replacing them by swithbacks (time-consuming, but much nicer), and building your bridges so that the access road isn't too steep. The bridge height mod might help.

Finally, toggle UDI icons off when you take a picture!
