I enjoy some of their songs, but if I really want to listen to great music, I'll listen to either classical music or 60s/70s rock.

They have lots of good songs, but also lots of bad songs. They played in Toronto the last 2 days...

Coldplay began with potential.  Parachutes is a good record.  Nothing pretentious - just another band playing music.

After they really broke through in 2002 or so, and they began emulating the social and political outlooks of U2 to the point where they were just a shadow of U2 - that was where they went down.

I have the first 2 records.  I'm not buying the third.  Not even downloading it.
