This is the PearsCloke Monument.  Dedicated to the only two casualties in my unit on the last deployment to Iraq.

Just a cool shot that I stumbled across while letting the simulation run.  Thought it might be worth sharing.2.gif

All these cities look so cool. the biggest city I have is 145,000 45.gif I dont do big citys but I rather make tons of small ones around 2,000-40,000.

All my towns live with 2 or 3 nieghbourhood towns.  I also like to build tropical towns. I like towns with buildings squished together or crowded. Most of my work is not a sucess but I happily love my towns

Wolf_pt how can you create beaches so straight? When I try to edit a terrain (standard SC4) It seems nearly impossible to make a straight coastline. Am I missing something?

Well, as all my ultra urban cities were lost in the great Hdd crash of April, im gonna post 2 pictures of what i belive is my best region to date. though therse pics have been shown in my cj, and are part of the story, since my cj is heavily story dependant.

Enjoy...

Here's a newspaper clipping for my upcoming City Journal 'The Empire of Chaumont'.. This will be the third Chaumont I've made so far, and as far as I'm concerned the best one.. The first one was a CJ at SimcityCentral, the second one was never shown and I'm still putting down the finishing touches on the last one..

But anyhoo.. Here's my teaser, hope you guys like it! 9.gif

The parade was in part inspired by Sepsis's Rodina.. I love his CJ and decided that it might be interesting to give the Simcity community a true Rodina adversary.. Once I have everything straightened out militarily, our two states will be two of the most dangerous CJ-states around here.. 18.gif

As for parades, Tc13 is right there.. I created a few lots with a crowd (1x1 and 2x2), with straight fence parts and corner parts, downloaded a custom bat Tank (the big one), used the jeeps and tomahawk missiles from Pegasus's naval lots and created the banner with 'Long live the Empire' and my own custom soldiers in various poses and uniforms in the BAT.. I also found a tutorial on how to create your own flag and modified the standard French flag to become the Chaumontian flag.. And, after building two seperate road lots with the troops marching around, I modified the top and bottom end of the two lots to connect with the road network so that it seems like the road can be driven on..

It's really not that difficult to create a parade, as long as you have a plan in your head and the intention to make possible that which you've imagined.. (If you need any more help with creating your own parade, you can always PM me..)

Great stuff, everyone. I love looking at what everyone has done.

I really don't have the time to maintain a city journal of my own, but here are a couple of pics from my region of Westend.
