Beach - My solution

I have try all kind of the beach on the STEX and also so nice
in normal view the known Maxis bag for the beach make poor
all beach.
So I have think of abadon the classic concet to make beach
(tiles on ground and tiles on water) and realize a beach only
on ground.
To make a correct wiev I have used the MOD "extended-beach.dat" and I have make transparent all tiles of the beach lots that I have realized (not so nice).

Right now I am struggling myself with the ugly look of the beaches under water. Might give your approach a try...

First of all sorry for my English.
Second thank for your compliment.
I play SimCity since 1989 (on the glorious Commodore64)
and my hobby was and is just to realize complex and functional city/region.
I just know as to use the LotEditor and I know only some functions of Reader.
I am much grateful to the "GURU" of SimCity like NAM team, Simgoober, Pegasus, Deadwoods, Gascooker ,ecc.
They are artists, thanks so mach for your work.

Great job!  I too struggle with  just the right look for beaches!  I noticed in one of your pictures a stairway down to the Beach, where did you get it?  Would you please tell me where I can download it from.  Thanks in advance.
