As always Darmok, you have some very nice farms developing.  Thank you for reminding me about the Super Demand Ordinance.  I will try that out once I get to play SC4 again, though that will have to wait until I get a new computer.  The one I have now is on its last legs and was barely able to run SC4 before Rush Hour came out.  The last time I played, it took nearly 20 minutes to load a standard 4 large cities by 4 large cities region, and over an hour to get into one of those cities.  That was with no plugins, not even NAM.  While I cannot play, I can still learn from your example and whenever I get my new machine, I will try my best to build something as beautiful as your region.

So keep up the great work!  Seeing your updates once a week makes me feel like I am able to play again.  Thank you.  Take care!

P.S.  Your preview photo is gorgeous.  How did you get that amazing water?

Jacky TWICE (jacqulina) - Paradise Falls

    Hi Jacky,

I'm fine thank you, weather is slowly going down, still some good days, but chillier times are ahead!

I saw your last update, including the corrected Tuscan farm, simply beautiful!

The weekend was good, worked outside saturday, but sunday was rainy and very cold, same thing today (monday morning as I write this.)

Have a great weekend my friend and see you soon!

    EDITED Thursday morning

Had a great week, lot's of work but not too crazy... glad you liked the correction to the stretch of road. And what's good about Swamper's help is that he made those corrections on his own, I didn't ask. Now that's what I call generous!

See you later on my friend.

Owen (TWICE) - (Owenluby) - Unifire

    Hi Owen

hehehe... that's one thing I'm glad I don't have anymore....homework... (well... I now have chores around the house but I'd rather rake the leaves than do homework! WINK)

Glad you liked the update, as for the work involved, It's not that bad, you just have to get the hang of working slowly, took me some time to get used to it. But in the end it so much fun!

    Take care my friend!

    Aleking TWICE - AK's Watchamacalllt CJ !

    Hey Alek,

Yeah I agree about the jaggies, (corrected by now). The only problem with using the diagonal street though, was the fact that it leveled the terrain under it, I had to redo all the street/TE trails entrance connections. But it was well worth it!

    Thanks for your insight!

Daniel - Shadow_Assassin - Ensenada - That City in the east

    Hi Daniel,

Well, I corrected the diagonal road to a street, but I kept some roads, to help the traffic.

And the town center still have some changes coming. As for the street/dirt trail transition texture, I don't have a clue on how to do it, I'm not too bad with the LE, but I still have to learn about creating textures, consider me a complete newb on that topic!

    Take care my friend.

    Fallon144

    Thanks Fallon,

In fact the region itself is not that big, it's probably one of the smaller maps there was on ST. (No longer there unfortunately).

I'll post a new region pic after the completion of Anôrien.

    See you!

    Nik-nik (TWICE)

    Hi Nik,

Hey I like that TGIAVR... WINK

The reason behind the mixed density is to avoid the game creating 2X1 house lots, by mixing density it forces the game to create 1X1 houses... after that it's a simple process of making them historical... (thank god it's only a small sector...)

Hehehe, yeah when I saw those 3 gas stations grow up I was tempted to blast some, but I just waited and in the long run they were replaced by the game itself.

I remember one of my oldest uncle, a long time ago, who scared all of us, the poor guy had a problem with one of his eyes (it was really not pretty!) and he was a mute so instead of speaking he was kind of always mumbling loudly... you can imagine how we were scared! Poor guy!

Anyhow, always good to see you my friend, OH BTW, I don't understand your reference about me posting on the 15th!!! Here (on my browser) I read the time reference for my post as (10/14/2006 10:07 PM).

The only edit I did in it was to replace one pic link which was bad.

    Take care!

Phil TWICE (PhilsCafe) - Acorn Creek

    Hi Phil,

PEG's parking lots are simply perfect for rural setups!

And I agree about the road being out of place in a rural setup, I've replaced the diagonal one, but kept the rest to alleviate the traffic problem.

As for the gaz stations, competition proved the best solution, there's only two left by now.

    Have a great weekend

    Take care

P.S. Simplicity is indeed sometime complicated.... does that make sense???

As for the teaser shot, I'm sorry to say that we won't see that sector for now, it's still several weeks away! For now, we will continue with that part of Anôrien, hoping you'll like it as well!

    See you my friend!

    wouanagaine - SC4 Terraformer a tool for regional hand-terraforming

    Hi wounagaine,

What can I say, I'm always overwhelmed by the sheer number of people still following AVR!

So SC4 terraformer is going open source! Like Linus Torvalds have you kept some control over the things that can or cannot be done with it?

If the rural trails interest you, please note that Swamper77 have enhanced them. They're more efficient now. I'm not bad at designing but fortunately some people are better than me at optimizing code! The new version is on the STEX now.

You'll find PEG's parking lots on his web site, see the link in the links section above. They're no longer available on the STEX.

    Take care my friend!

    Choco (Chocolatemax285) - Green Depra

    Hi Max,

Thanks mate, I wanted a small residential area, but big enough to constitute the "heart" of that small farming community.

So far it's the city who's taking the longest time to create (it's not finished yet!) Can you believe that!

    Take care my friend

    John - Mightygoose

    Hey John,

What can I say, as I'm showing every step of Anôrien building process, some updates will probably be less appealing or "eye-candy" than others.

Hoping you'll like this one better!

    See you!

    VesterDK - VDK Showcase

    Hi Arne,

Boy, do I agree about having a mod that would get rid of the road jagged edges!

As for showing every detail, I'm glad to know you appreciate this way of presenting AVR, sometimes I do wonder if I'm boring people with those tech shots.

Anyhow, always good to read you my friend!

    Take care

    Bat TWICE

Thanks Bat, and yes I'm using a money cheat, as I've explained in the first page of AVR, I'm more into creating cities I like, than wanting to have a balanced budget. I played the game without cheats at first (not in AVR though) and was able to create cities up to 700 000 sims... but after reading Jeroni's SCR, I finally understood that, for me, creation was more important than managing. The important thing with SC4, is to play it the way we want.

    Take care

    Phil (Pvarcoe) Bow River Valley

    Hi Phil,

Well, I don't think of myself as being that patient, I just listen to Jeroni's advice about simply taking our time when playing with SC4, besides there's no rush it's only a game after all!

Mixing densities is another Jeroni's trick, this way the game is "forced" into creating 1X1 lots, and as there's practically NO 1X1 med density we then end up with lots of 1X1 houses, when we zone with the same density sometimes the game just join two zones thus ruining the effect we want. But I have to say that while it's working quite well with 1X1 zoning, it's not as easy with bigger zones because then you'll "really" have low AND med density side by side.

Again the key word is "try", we should "try" things more often... even crazy ones! Very often our best results come from a crazy idea!

Always good to see you Phil, take care!

David TWICE (dedgren) - Three Rivers Region

    Hi David,

hehehe... I didn't think that the frost would be delivered THAT fast! But if it's any consolation to you, it'll catch us soon enough! (this part edited tuesday morning... In fact it already did, I was on windshield scraping duty this morning!)

A transition piece would be great, S_A was talking about that a few post above yours, but I must confess my total lack of knowledge on the creation of textures!!! I wouldn't know where to begin.

Samething about the road jagged edges problem... If only we had a mod!

Have a great weekend my friend, and keep the shovel (or the snowblower) close at hand!

Watching James Taylor hey! Well I guess that it's the right kind of music to listen to in front of the fireplace when snow is piling up in the driveway.... Ahhh the pleasures of winter! Seriously thanks about mentioning that DVD, I have the James Taylor Live album which comes from that show but I never thought that it was on DVD! There's some great guitar playing on this CD so I guess I'll be DVD hunting this weekend!

    Take care

Crazychickensc12 TWICE - Trinity River Valley - TRV

    Hi CC,

Glad you noticed the empty space in the commercial zone, I was just trying to copy what we often see in RL in those small villages, not every space is developed...

As for the jagged edges, you've seen the corrected pic, though I've kept several road stretches to help with keeping a good traffic flow.

    Good to read you buddy!

    Take care

Rooker1 - Xania a tour of my world

Hi Robin, thanks for the welcome to page 123.

Glad to oblige my friend, I know that picture withdrawal can be painful! LOL

The farms are mostly BSC farms, took a while to get all the dependencies, but well worth the effort.

Hehehe, I agree about the stop signs necessity, I just didn't want them there.

I don't know of any mods that can force the same kind of sidewalks. I think that Swamper did something about the sidewalks (Sidewalk avenue mod) but not sure exactly what it does!

    And here's more Bat-Pics! wink

    Take care!

    Dark Lord TWICE

    Hi Dark Lord, Thanks!

    Threestooges – Matt TWICE

Hey Matt, wow, I see that my RL (even if a bit hectic these days) is much quieter than yours!

Yep competition did the trick, they're down to two stations, which is quite normal.

I guess that the town center will fit better in the next few updates, it's the starting point of the residential area in Anôrien.

The stream you saw with the corrected picture is not the first stream, this one you'll see a bit later. This one is where I am right now in Anôrien, (still not finished!!!) I'm working really slowly these days, changing my mind very often.... you can blame David, he gave me the push into superdetailling... hehehe...

As for imageshack, it's really easy you have tow options, either you register and have all the benefits or you can upload even if not registered, though you can not manage your image folder then. All you have to do is to give an email adress... as far as I'm concerned I've created a special e-mail account at Netscape just for that purpose... so no problem there. and so far I have over a thousand pics hosted there, the only thing to keep in mind with those hosting services is to keep a copy off all the pics you host because they're not responsible for any loss. I keep my pics backed up on a DVD. Another thing, keep the activation e-mail somewhere, just in case you clear the cookies in your browser, you'll have to re-activate your account. More info on their FAQ.

FYI the cattails under the bridges are Buddybud's pieces

    See you my friend!

Steve - Sorchin – TWICE Developping Macedon

    Hey Steve,

Glad you liked it my friend, and as for the stop signs, I don't mind them on street corners, it's just that I find that they are out of place in a driveway! And yes the change to a street was exactly what was needed on that particular setup!

    Take care

    GaBoR - Oro Bruno

    Hola Gabor,

Muchas gracias amigo, for those very kind words, I don't know what to say besides that It's always a genuine pleasure to talk/write with everyone in AVR. On another note, can we expect some more pics on your CJ?

Have a great week end my friend

    Take care.

    Menotyou

    Hi Menotyou,

    Thanks for your support!

    Sloppet - Anwakee County

    Hi Sloppet,

Hey sorry about not putting the link. Not seeing a link to your CJ in your sig, I thought you've closed it. Glad to know it's not the case my friend! (link corrected - see above)

I guess that crap is what keeps farmer growing things don't you think? WINK

Always good to see you sloppet.

Hoping for some new pics in Anwakee.

    Take care

HamsterTK - Run for your Life

    Hi Hamster, Thanks buddy.

BTW don't despair, I'm still reading Run for your life , people if you like mysteries and want to READ an interesting and DIFFERENT story, take the time to stop by HamsterTK's CJ!

    Take care hamster!

    Szarkoz - Everon Metro Area

    Hi Tomek,

Hey, what can I say, shameless is my middle name! About the use of ploppable water, you can sure point your finger... (hey that's not polite),

Alright alright... let me rephrase that, you can blame (there... that's better, and it fits right in, David's being a lawyer, blame is right up is alley!).... where was I??? yeah... you can certainly blame David's influence, before his tutorials all my forays on that subject turned to... well nothing good...

The only trees I use are PEG's seasonal woods (available on PEG's web site) along with Jeroni's trees (including trees by DuskTrooper) , Cycledog's trees and that's about it. A simple search with the names Jeroni or Cycledog will get you to the right lots. They give lots of variety!

    Take care my friend.

    Natuurzoon - Rochelle County

    Hey Natuurzoon,

    Thanks man!

    GMT - Greater Columbia River

    Hey Torben,

Thanks man, and glad to know that your CJ will be back on track!

    See you!

Owen (Yoman3) - United Republic of Ankara

    Hi Owen,

The bridge you ask for is part of the new bridges for the NAM, and the lily pads and plants are part of Goldiva's water flora mod wich you'll find on Gizmo's web site, and there's also the Goldiva rocks. See the links section at the top of this update.

    Hope this'll help you!

    Take care

Special Eddie - Oasis--The Wild West

    Thanks Eddie!

    Rhéal – rw0381c

    Salut Rhéal,

Well the fingers are OK I guess, they do not hurt so bad now and I'm slowly building good calluses.

I've played the guitar from 13 or 14 until I was 24 and stopped after selling my SG and Fender Bassman amp (my mother was happy!), save a few tries here and there with my good ol' Ibanez (accoustic) which I've always kept, but never seriously, and it's now 8 weeks since I've resumed my playing, after too many years of inaction. It's going better than I thought, though there's still a lot to re-learn before I'll consider myself any good! I'm practicing mostly 70's stuff, Santana, Pink Floyd, CCR and the likes. What about you, you playing too?

Have a great weekend my friend, see you!

    -John

    Skyrian

Hi Tzannos, Welcome to Anduin Valley!

Glad to know that you like AVR, Simtropolis is the place to be if you want good ideas about playing SC4, go and have a look around in the CJ section, you surely would like Jeroni's Simtropia, or if you like industries and downtowns take a look at Aleking's CJ. And so many more, David's (Dedgren) 3 Rivers Region if you're into nature and mapping! Well you get my point...

As for the mods, plugins, BATS and LOTS they all (or almost) come from the STEX here on Simtropolis. SO go ahead take the plunge and download! you'll never regret it!

Pay attention to the readme files that comes with the lots you'll be downloading so you'll be sure to download all the needed dependencies.

Good luck with your city making, and don't hesitate to ask if you need any help.

    See you!

    Fallon144

    Hi Fallon,

I try to pay attention when driving through places for the first time, trying to keep in my mind the details... Although, very often, I just go with the lay of the land, trying to figure what would look good in that particular spot, sometimes it works, sometimes, mehh...

    Thanks for your visit!

    Take care

    PDQAg

    Hey PDQAg,

Sorry to hear that about your PC, my old box was slow, but not THAT slow!

It took about 10 to 15 minutes to load a city. I'm glad AVR makes you feel like you're playing and I'll do my best to keep you entertained!

The water is the Edmonton ploppable water by brtim2, see the link in the links section above.

    Take care

NOTE: In the following pics you'll see again the road with the jagged edges, those pictures were taken a few months back and I didn't want to take all of them again! So just keep in mind that the correction IS made. And now, without further ado, here's....

I love the intricate irrigation network - it really adds a lot of interest and detail. The little sports complex is nice too, though I think a small parking lot would be handy. The co-op is just the perfect touch to this rural area.

    Hi Darmok

Almost forget that we are on friday, and that I have to check one of my favorite inspiration source CJ 4.gif

First , thx for the links, I'm downloading them right now

The small sport area is very pleasant, I'm not sure that I would have put the church so close to it, but it makes a great pic indeed

The farming with trail is a joy to see, you have layout the trail, the flora and the canal in a very natural way

And the mysterious link is a must see . Natural selection at its best 4.gif

I saw you this afternoon but had to rush of to the hospital for a blood test (aparently there IS some blood in my alcohol), so for once I start ST at home (what? kids have to go to bed? Can't they do that themselves? nasty little critters....grumble, mumble).......

OK in reversed order. LOL at darwin page. 18.gif

Nice crops you've got there in AVR. Even nicer aliens writing messages in them..... 2.gif

Great cooperation. Did you know SG still makes some great stuff. For some reason he posted them in the past months at Pegprod site and not on Stex. There are some great uploads. He is a true master of art (get it here http://www.jphayden.com/pegprod/forums/portal.php)

The three farms with the irrigation canals are great. You noticed the left most one does not have a decent road access? The chateau like farm I am talking about.

The sports fields need some club house, changing clothes and having a shower after a good game in church or at the mayors house is NOT a good idea. I do not know what a good plop would be, maybe the latest addition (Jackey's Cabin: https://www.simtropolis.com/stex/index.cfm?page=1#  by callagrafx) would fit, any idea?

Anyhow, now it is high time for those kids, so I wish you a great weekend and keep cheerfull as always.

    Aha!  Leftovers...

Well, as if it's any surprise, AVR leftovers are on a par with the finest cuisine anywhere else.

This last update was just beautiful, my friend.  You continue to transcend the possible in SC4.

Hi John, long time no see! That's not really true, you haven't see me around here just because I haven't posted in the last 3 pages, but I have been lurking around here every single day, and drooling on every update of yours. Seen and re-seen your lastest 2 updates and all the work done on the farm fields and accesses. That made me get my hands on the several tools available (LE, SC4Tool, BAT, 3DMax, etc...) and start doing some custom content as well, modding where necessary, expanding my frontiers on this game's playing levels. All thx to your CJ and some others like.

Keep this fantastic work, it's a source of inspiration for a lot of people 2.gif

I have to say honestly that that update was not the best I have seen... I didn't really enjoy it too much 15.gif

Normally I can't get enough of AVR, but this morning, I guess I am just not in the mood 15.gif

Well, there is one picture I liked alot, the one with the Rural Highway passing by on the nice rolling slopes. I really want to know how you did that!

WOW. I always get my mony's worth comming to your CJ John. So many lovely pics. Concerning the church goers playing tenis after church.. Nah, they will most likely eat first, go rest, THEN play tennis.. LOL. You took us through the entire scope of communities in this update.. My favorite area was probably the area with the church, tennis court, soccer field (pic 04).

Neat idea on the last pic with the "writing on the dirt"..

    Take care my friend..

    Darmok,

thanks a lot for your advice! I really aprecciate it.I like so much playing SC but as i told you i'm quite new and i can't manage well sometimes. I have plenty of questions and queries! I will just mention some of them for today.

    1. How someone can create a big city  when it must build the industrial zone away from residential to avoid pollution and at the same situation must build the industrial zone near the residential for the good transfer of sims?

    2. Why my sims don't stay in my city when i provide them schools, hospitals, police stations....and all the activities that can help them?

    3. I have no idea about the taxes. I don't know how to use them.

Any other idea or advice would be acceptable and useful for me ......and sorry for my bad english!!

John, my friend!  Brilliant as always.  I did catch the Honor you bestowed upon my family a few pages back.  Everything is looking very good.  You really seem to have the whole farming thing down.  Keep on rocking.  I sure do miss my family here at Simtrop, but I guess that is life sometimes........If any of you want to catch up on where I have been as of late, follow either of these two links --> Here or Here .

    Take Care my friend.

Wonderful update (as always) Darmok.  I really liked the irrigation canals for the new farming sector.  Also that message in the field was a very nice touch.  I wonder though, how long did it take for those pesky aliens to write that? 3.gif Or was it just teenagers playing a prank on the farmer? 9.gif Thank you for the link to the ploppable water, hopefully I will be able to use it someday.  My computer celebrated its 6th birthday last month, so I am happy it is still running.  Though if it dies, I finally have a better excuse to buy a new rig to play SC4!

Looking forward to your next update!  I'm glad it's so close to Friday!  Take care!

    Jacky (jacqulina) - Paradise Falls

Rain, wind and cold, yep pretty much the sane here! hehehe...

I like it when you said "there's so much i have left to experiment with", this is probably the most important thing to remember when playing SC4, experimenting!

    See you soon my friend!

Mayormommy - Nightmare Islands: Life on all levels

    Hi MM,

That irrigation network will go a long way in Anôrien!

As for the missing parking space, you know that I usually put them everywhere, it was an "editorial choice" I had to make between a clean area or a crowded one, and I just thought, "As this is a sporting complex (kind of..) and this is a rather small community, well, they'll just have to walk!" WINK

Always good to see you here MM

    Take care

Benedict - The Mayors of Ellis Valley

    Hey Benedict,

You noticed the message, hehehe... I was just trying to do something "a la" crop circles... WINK

    Have a great weekend too!

    Bat - Capporth City

Hi Bat, thanks for your constant support!

    wouanagaine - SC4 Terraformer a tool for regional hand-terraforming

    Hi wouanagaine,

    Glad to help my friend.

As for putting the church close to the baseball/softball field, I just took my inspiration from my hometown where that setup was almost identical, save for a street between church and sports field. Though in RL the mayor house was nowhere near the church!

I find this a few years back, and just remembered it, there's a lot of funny things there! Though you have to read carefully, some of the stories are labelled "not verified", but those who interest me are the real ones... some of them are just plain incredible!

    Take care!

    Dark Lord

Hehehe... keep that enthusiasm of yours coming this way DL, it's really appreciated!

    Take care

    Nik-nik

** Dark atmosphere, lightning bolts and hearing a church organ in the background **

    Bloooood! somebody said bloooood!

Hey! you... shoo! shoo! who was that big bat?... and a talking one a that! Sheeesh! some critters have no respect!

What were you saying Nik, something about a blood test? ** Muhhh HAHAHA ** HEY SHOO I SAID!, that Bat thing again!

    I hope it's nothing serious!

And I don't believe for a minute that you would miss the kids bedtime! WINK

Yeah The Darwin awards are really funny, and the funniest part is that most of the stories are true!

The message in the crop! Must be that bat thing again!

I'll have to visit PEG's site, it's been a few weeks since I've been there!

The farm entrance had been fixed, in fact I should have included the pic in the upgrade, but I felt that there was already a lot of pictures so I postponed it! (I should have remembered your eagle eye!)

The club house thing is a really good idea! I'll see what I can do. Jacky's cabin already downloaded, but I have something else in mind for it!

    Say hello to the kids!

And see you later my friend

    Take care

David (dedgren) - Three Rivers Region

Hi David, glad you like leftovers, sometimes they're fulfilling!

About the mystery link, well 'twas just a silly idea!

    Take care!

    Rayden - New Haven

    Hola Sylvio,

I hope that you'll show us what you'll come up with while playing with the LE and BAT! New content is always welcome! Though my plugin directory is bursting at the seams.

Really good to read you again amigo, see you soon!

    Take care

Special Eddie - Oasis--The Wild West

    Hey Eddie,

Thanks my friend, but as for not ending, I guess that all things do come to an end sometimes. But there's still a lot to come though!

    See you!

    Owen - (Owenluby) - Unifire

Hi Owen, what can I say, some updates are less eye candy than others

The rural highway shot, well If you go back to the beginning of Anôrien, you'll see the technique I've used, really simple though! I've used the railroad tool 4 tiles wide, and this created the gentle sloping effect, I just didn't want to flatten the land.

You'll see it more clearly on page https://www.simtropolis.com/forum/messageview.cfm?catid=36&threadid=59816&STARTPAGE=116

    Hope this'll help you.

    Take care

    Sorchin – Developping Macedon

    Hi mate!

Hehehe, the writing in the dirt was just some kidding around... I was just trying to do something like crop circles at first, and then just thought that it would be nice to write something!

    Take care!

Daniel - Shadow_Assassin - Ensenada - That City in the east

Hi Daniel, thanks my friend, glad you still appreciate!

    Crazychickensc12 - Trinity River Valley - TRV

    Hi CC,

Thanks buddy, I should use those irrigation canals more often! They do add a certain "je ne sais quoi" to the whole setup!

    Take care!

    Tzannos - Skyrian

    Hi Tzannos,

There's no big problem with your english. We can understand you quite easily!

I think I'm not the best person to help you with playing SC4 the "realistic" way. Because I use lots of mods, ordinances and cheats, that let me concentrate on the aesthetic side of the game instead of the administrative and managing side.

I guess that the better thing for you would be to take a look at the different tutorials and threads in the Omnibus, particularly the SimCity 4 tutorials section, I'm pretty sure you'll find lot"s of good tips!

I've made a few searches and here's some reading suggestions:

    1. Industries = There's two pages worth of links on that topic, hard to choose one! Just type the word "industry" in the search box, and read... my experience on that topic, is to try to diversify and avoid concentrating your industrial zones in one big zone. Usually industry will be found near the seaports, and on the edge of a city. The best thing is to try different things, do not try to make a perfect city, it doesn't exist, start a city and try different things until you get the "hang of it", there's no "wrong ways" there's just "different ways". So try, try, try, until you find "your way" of doing things.

    2. I think the better thing to do is to read all you can find in the Omnibus section, and then make a search with the topic "Tutorial" and you should find several thread that would relate to that general subject, as I use the super demand mod, I don't have that particular problem so I can't help you on this! sorry!

    3. As for the taxes, I'd suggest you read that thread Taxes - Taxes - Taxes as it seems to have good advice in it!

But again try the "search" option in the forum window, read a lot, and don't be afraid of experimenting.

Again Tzannos, don't be sorry for your english, and I guess that the thing to keep in mind while playing SC4 is simply this, It's a GAME, so play with it, go wild, try, experiment. If you don't like the result, blast it and do it over...and HAVE FUN!

Do not hesitate to ask if you have other questions, I'll try to help as best as I can.

    Take care

Dan - La Plaisance County (Best County South of Canada!)

Great to hear from you my friend, and I know that priority can change in life, these days music is taking most of my free time, I practice my guitar each and every day at least an hour, sometimes two or more, it's been 9 weeks now and even if I'm still not ready to play in public, there's improvement and I enjoy it more than I thought I would.

Can't see your "myspace" link right now (I'm on my lunch break at work and that site is blocked).

I'll edit the post tomorrow morning.

I'll PM you with more details.

    Regards to all the familly

    John

    PDQAg

    Hi PDQAg,

6 years! sheesh! I usually change mine around 4 to 5 years no more...

Here's more on the farming sector and some trains, hope you'll like it!

    Have a great weekend!

Thanks to all of you for your kind support!

The farms are brilliant! Unfortunately, like PDQAg, my computer has given up the ghost and is unable to play SC4. Would it be possible for you to create some kinda list of your plugins for when i do get back on it? I like the Etienne's Junction area and power thingy behind the banana field. Great!

    Lovely update, Darmok.

I see a scarecrow. These details are awesome. But with one of the farms... the main lot's grass, and subdivides the paddock into two... wouldn't that farm be better with a grass lot or something that matches.

    15zzup10avanorienpiczzuo6.jpg

The leftmost one in that image is the one I'm talking about. It doesn't really fit (maybe just keep the actual main lot and fill the rest with a grass that matches). Otherwise, it's perfect 3.gif

I liked it so much I almost didn't see the grid was stil on (never mind that).

That power station is very nice (I alreday got it so no need for a linkie) It looks like it is water cooled.........

I love your pics. I keep on browsing back and forth and back........

Please note teh following. I do not spit loud. I will not stay in my car during toilet and I will not have my balls removed (great link!)

    Have a great weekend.

Very nice update John. I loved specially that little detail of the water pump being repaired. And I'm still laughing of your today's secret link, that one of the shoplifters (page 4) is absolutely great, I have to avoid that shop at all costs 9.gif17.gif

    Have a nice week 4.gif

Now that is looking incredibly realistic.

    Those rural areas are stunning.

    Great job!
