    Wow, what an honor to get my very own passportto Andin Valley.  Thank you so much, where exactly can I find a good house.  You know not too close to the city but not so far that I have to drive too long to get any where?

    Awesome updates, great pics and incredible detail.  I think I'm going to steal some of your ideas.  Don't be surprised if my farming area has some dirt roads and walk ways like yours.  It looks perfect.  Thanks in advance.

    Some questions

 

1. 1st pic from update done on 2/16 7:50am, where did you get this fence?  On the STEX or is it yours. I NEED IT.

2. T road pieces I see every where in the farm areas. Where are they from?

3. Corner drive way, where are they from?

4. Are you using some kind of grass modd?  I really like the colour of the grass in your CJ.

 

Can you help me with these questions, it would be very appreciated.

I've glanced through a few pages of your latest CJ, and I can say nothing but EXCELLENT, really... you have the sort of artistic character in all your cities, which I dont have in mine(haha... I admit); better and better terraforming (though is superb already) which I admires most, and the energy to keep the reigon ( and CJ) running and growing...

For the house, just look around and name your poison, or just state your preference I'm sure we'll find something!
As for borrowing some ideas, by all means do! As I was saying to MS, it's exactly what's ST is great for, like a SC4 think tank!

1. They're Suico's fences, Farms Fences ver. 0 by suico
2 and 3. The T and corner road pieces, well they're not of my doing, Dan (Dhoppeii) asked me to test them. I don't know if he plans to upload them or not. You'll have to ask him I guess!

I really understand about RL problem, so don't worry about that, I'm glad to see that you still appreciate AVR and thank you for all those great compliments!
As for the energy to keep the region going, I'm still amazed myself! I see two reasons why I keep going:
1. The INCREDIBLE support I get from the readers!
and

2. I took this project as a personnal challenge saying that I'd go through the whole region for once. (Never done it before!)

And I'm surely a bit pigheaded too!

great work Damork, I just love the CSX Industrial Abbatoir, and the street behind it, that's somethins I got to do, because sometimes I don't make it and the cirminality always get me, cool idea with the coffe and the farms sure looks good.

Nice little update Darmok. I always appreciate the finer details like your use of dirt trails and walls. Your terraforming in such a hilly area is very well done. Lots of little lessons in the way you do that. Thanks for sharing them.

Bloody brilliant... brilliantly planned farming areas, beautiful retaurants, shame you don't see farming areas like that around here, instead we just have endless paddocks of cane and a couple of roads and canals between, this is just excellent.

More great looking farms my friend.  If I'm being honest, I really didn't like the roundabout look in it's first presentation.  I do, however, really like what you did to it in the previous pic.......looks much more at home in a rural setting now.

Restaurant row looks great and I'm glad to know there is someplace I can stop and get some ahhhh cough medicine if needed 

Not too sure what the issue could be with the missing textures.  Have you tried to open the farm up in the SC4Tool?  If you have and still can't find the problem, I might suggest that you open the farm up in LE and just put whatever texture down you want....of course you would need to demolish that farm first.....

Glad to hear that Matthew's tournament went so well, do we perhaps have a future NHL'er on our hands.....if so, make sure to let me know when you make a stop in Hockeytown......I know a great pub.....ok, I know more than one

Wow! Anduin Valley has gone a very long way sense I last posted. It looks great Darmok! It is so realistic. I wish I could build a city like all of yours. BTW, how did you make that roundabout? I can make the 2 by 2 ones, thats easy but how do you make the 3 by 3?

Alright - first post in another CJ than mine on the new ST ... let's see how it works (I miss the old post editor a bit - after writing more than 1000 posts with it I got used a little bit to it ...) Okay, two updates to comment! I like that Dunkin Doughnut next to the Abbatoir. And I guess it really fits ... I guess after a shift or two in the slaughter department I would not want to eat any meat in my breaks at all Interesting way for a nice sloped farm - I tend to follow the terrain but why not. I just wondr - is the road higher than the surrounding fields / woods? What I like about the overview is the dirttracks from the farm thru the woods to the other farms. Great littel detail! The overviews on the next update show that you mastered quite your own style of farming! You posted you would be glad if you would be half as goofd as the top ones, I would say you already reached that target some time before ... Great work with your filler lots and the wildflowers on that roundabout. Did all those restaurants and the liquid medical supply shop grow (with the help of the bulldozer) or did you pliopped some of them? Have a nice week and take care! Bernhard BTW CR is still not working ... and it seems I oppened page 113 ... there are less post per page now ...

Yep the tournament went well, they only lost the first game, and in the final game they beat the same team in second prolongation!
But I don't see any NHL contract in the future..... (bummer!)

Thanks for your kind words, has for the big roundabouts, I think that the necessary plugin is found within the NAM, you just do it the same way you do a 2x2, with the oneway road tool. I first saw it in a roundabout thread and I'm pretty sure it's in the NAM now....

Hey Bernhard, was thinking of you this weekend, we went to visit the "Ice Hotel" and thought that you don't have that much snow in Istambul. I'll try to post a link to some of the pictures I took there.
I still have to familiarize myself with the new post editor too..
The road is sometimes higher and sometimes lower, I know that when it's lower they would have flooding problems, but hey! I build it, let's them (the sims) deal with the problem.
You humble me with your compliment about farming, I really think I've still a lot to learn about it. (And looking forward to it as well! After all, it's always about learning!)...

1st of all apologies once again for missing out on so much of Anduin *sigh* I have been swamped to an extent that I have not really updated or played much - the life of a worker bee I guess *sigh*

You have done a wonderful job once again - and Calenhad is shaping up nicely - I really love that roundabout you did - *grin* actually looks like a new RL roundabout in an industrial zone outside of the city I live in - *grin* if I ever can get a pic I will pass it to you *grin*
