Yes that’s right, amazing adventures. Ooo, time for a new banner for a new area.
    Tah-dah!
    willowbendlongbannercopnc9.jpg

And what have we here? A small town just off the road. It is called Hollow Stump.
    Picture 200.1!!!!!
    willowbendlong1995copypu1.jpg

This market centered town is an outpost in the jungle away from the main pumba society. It still needs a wall as protection from the dangers of the wild jungle.
    Picture 200.2
    willowbendlong1996copyru8.jpg

Here is a banner for it.
    hollowstumpbannercopyiw3.jpg

The road gets smaller after passing Hollow Stump. Where does it go now? More amazing adventures?

In this update we continue to follow the road. Past the town of Hollow Stump we come to the village of Where.
    Picture 202.1
    manyforks2021copytd6.jpg

    Where!!!
    Picture 202.2
    manyforks2022copyjt8.jpg

From Where the road continues but soon trickles down to a dirt road.
    Picture 202.3
    manyforks2023copykn0.jpg

A dirt road that meanders through the jungle.
    Picture 202.4
    manyforks2024copyou8.jpg

First it heads north but soon turns west.
    Picture 202.5
    manyforks2025copygc9.jpg

Here is a bigger picture of the area showing the rivers converging above Root Delta. We have explored the tributary to the right. Now it is time to follow the left tributary.
(Trivia note: This picture is made of five pictures from three cities. Wow!)
    Picture 202.6
    manyforks2026copyot5.jpg

Where does the road go now? Will it stay with the river or go into the hills? Does it lead to even more amazing adventures?

Great update! That looks like pretty rugged terrain. The Humba must be just the thing!

Love the car ads. You definitely need a Humba for that road. Reminds of a road I drove around to the backside of a volcano in Maui. Couldn't even get a radio signal back there, much less cell phone, and my rental car contract specifically forbid driving on that road. Sometimes you just have to ignore the fine print on those things. 3.gif

As we continue our journey along the road it meanders through the jungle. Kind of monotonous until suddenly the path ends at a bridge.
    Picture 204.1
    willowbendlong2041copyro3.jpg

Across the bridge is a town with a watchtower and a quay. Is this where the road ends? Is this its destination?
    Picture 204.2
    willowbendlong2042copyaf0.jpg

It seems very similar to the Central Station town we saw before. This must be another outpost of the Cartel of the Ivory Soapstone. But why is it out here? There is no ivory soapstone out here.
    Picture 204.3
    willowbendlong2043copykv6.jpg

Why are they here? What are their plans?
    Picture 20 four point four
    willowbendlong2044copyhs8.jpg

That will have to be yet another one of many amazing adventures!

I have been a slacker and have not done an update in awhile. Figuring out what to do next as I am having a little trouble getting the game to do what I want. Enough chit chat here are another few pictures.

    A little boat ride latter…
    Picture 207.1
    willowbendlong2071copyfy4.jpg

    Wow, what is that?
    Picture 207.2
    willowbendlong2072copydr2.jpg

A walled citadel in the Jungle?
    Picture 207.3
    willowbendlong2073copyjb3.jpg

    Where will this lead?
    Picture 207.4
    willowbendlong2074copytt6.jpg

Yet even more amazing…Ok, ok enough. Let’s stick around.

    We have a town…
    Picture 207.5
    willowbendlong2075copykp1.jpg

    And a citadel…
    Picture 207.6
    willowbendlong2076copyxc3.jpg

And a whole lot of jungle.
    Picture 207.7
    willowbendlong2077copyno8.jpg

A new mystery…(or just a way to stall.)

Wow, you are still the master of dismal creepy jungle scenery (yes, that's a compliment). That citadel in the middle of nowhere is quite spooky.

Construction in the jungle. The dismal creepy jungle full of dismal plants and creepy animals.
    Picture 208.1
    willowbendlong2081copyzk4.jpg

So there was a reason for the town across that bridge. The Cartel of the Ivory Soapstone must have some plans for this neck of the woods.

It looks like a big building. This must be a way of consolidating the Cartels growing influence. First there was the ivory soapstone mines, then the Ominous Black Building, and now this construction hidden away from prying eyes. Maybe it will be their headquarters or hunting lodge or a super safe bunker.

    Picture 208.2
    willowbendlong2082copyti6.jpg

Maybe it is just an elaborate forest fire prevention tower. Very elaborate.
    Picture 208.3
    willowbendlong2083copycb1.jpg

    The mystery continues…

So without much ado here is the new building. Ooo, aahhhh.

What the heck is this building doing in the middle of the jungle?

A quick update. Now it is not just a single building in the jungle it is a complex.
    Picture 210.1
    willowbendlong2101copyuv0.jpg

That is a lot of rooms for a lot of people and a lot of building material must have been hauled in. I wonder if the Grand Pumba knows what is going on. I have not heard a word from his office on the matter.
    Picture 210.2
    willowbendlong2102copyxi0.jpg

I think it is the start of something big. Maybe even creepy.
    Picture 210.3
    willowbendlong2103copymh4.jpg

Two bonus pictures of the freight yard.
    Picture 210.4
    willowbendlong2104copysl9.jpg

    Picture 210.5
    willowbendlong2105copyuh9.jpg

Good night. Ok, ok I need more pictures but I have a lot of work to do first.

That's quite a collection of buildings. It almost looks downright cheerful. But what's with the tunnel underneath? More Pumba creepy mysteries.

    P.S. - Happy Darwin Day!
