We don't often show the autocorrection script, but only when it is necessary.  You really believe in carb loading, eh?  OK.  One full box of PC White Cheddar deluxe macaroni and cheese, french fries (not sliced Jeanne D'Arc) and a glass of llama milk served.  Enjoy.

[s/what the/what does the/]  And that's what the autosystem does.

Oh, yeah: I finally got all the updates for SC4, the BAT, and the Lot Editor installed. Hopefully, I'll be able to wake up early this weekend to be able to use the desktop game computer when my dad's asleep.

Back then, they didn't really have a great reason. But now we're fighting a war against Iraq that is supposedly to "eradicate terror" (a.k.a. Al Qaeda) in the Middle East which has succeded not in that but instead in killing several thousand troops and a hundred thousand innocent Muslims. So they do have a reason.quote>

Defcon, I don't know if you realize the history of US policy in the middle east.  I don't want to turn this lovely place into a political debate, but I will say one thing:

The US's policies in the middle east are extremely backwards and detrimental to us and them.  Then AND now.  I absolutely do not support or condone Al Qaeda and they do not speak for the arab people, but they have largely gained ground because of US policies.  If the US would start to listen to the average arab's concerns and respond in a respectable way, we wouldn't be in this crisis with the 'Muslim world'.  The US needs to start investing in some public diplomacy rather than military force.  Only then will we be as safe as a nation can be.

The Soup Nazi had secret soup recipes. Do you have any secret grammar recipes?

I bet N_O_Body has a few secret recipes stashed behind the bar. Or else they're stashed in an armour around here somewhere. *looking suspicously around the bar*

    Yes, please!

And thanks for correcting the slat - salt! 22.gif

Defcon Pilot:  I hope you also loaded up the Plugin Manager.  Without it, you don't have a link between the BAT and the LE.

ryanb_sc4:  Mostly the GN attachment is concerned with unclear orders to the autosystem.  It has no motto, and only displays scripts on request.

thesonofgray:  Yes, let's not get too political here, it is against board policy.  However, I do agree that the U.S. policy of trying to export their form of democracy hasn't worked in the past and won't work now.  You can only rule with the consent of the governed.

dudeson:  Well, here is something the GN can parse.  Let's see you punctuate this:

Smith while Jones had had had had had had had had had had had the instructors approval.quote>
Put in commas, apostrophes, quote marks, etc.  Have fun.

sloppet:  I am glad not to have to pass you a slat.  Getting hit with a bed board is not nice.

BlondeTwiggy, what state do you live in? I'm guessing you must be in the Southern U.S. In my state, schools don't let out until the end of June. Unless you're in college, but that's a different matter.

I live in the US,... not really southern.  More like midwest.

I'd like to have a chocolate milkshake.... yeah... that sounds good! 9.gif

N_O_Body: That's really a code to one of your secrete recipes, isn't it? I just know you've got em' stashed around here somewhere. *continuing to look around* I bet I need The Moose Factory secrete decoder ring.

sloppet: Hey, a lot of people like you. And if you weren't here, who else would have way cool avatars that slightly freak me out? Although, the cartoon dog with the hat was great... the one just a week or 2 ago.

brancra: the schools in Nebraska let out middle end of May as well. There are graduations going on this weekend I think. But most people I've met seem to let out in June like yours.

simcityblowupFactory special hot chocolate served.  Enjoy.  If you need it, there's an oxygen tank and mask in the back room.

BlondeTwiggy1.5 l can of chocolate shake delivered with glass, straw and mustard plaster.  The autosystem is funning you.  The plaster is for the back of your neck so you can draw hard enough on the straw to get some of the extra thick shake.

dudeson:  How are you at mirror writing?  Have you ever read "Dr. Hudson's secret journal"?  We have an Enigma machine with four (4) wheels and a copy of "The Key to Rebecca".  We use all kinds of cyphers, and we have a code book too.  [s/secrete/secret]  The decoder ring doesn't secrete anything.  J/K.  Actually, everything is open and above board here.  What recipe were you looking for?

sloppet:  What's the matter?  Did someone spoil your nice, new rattle?  N_O_Body doesn't hate you, and that is not a double negative.  Maybe you just need some nice Kielbassa with sourkraut and perogies for dinner tonight to cheer you up.  Good international cuisine, available at a thought.

Re: school leaving times:  Ontario, Canada.  Universities - anytime from the middle of April to now.  Colleges of AAT - Trimester system.  Trimester break is about now.  High schools - sometime in the last week of May, first week of June.  Primary schools - kept until the last dog is fried at the end of June.  Fortunately for kids around here Simcoe County air conditions all schools.

@N_O_Body: Of course I did! In fact, I've had it for about a half-year now. It's just the updates I didn't install. But now I've installed them, and everything works great, including the nightlighting (that was the best!).

@sloppet: Aw, we don't hate you.

@simcityblowup: Even better than cocoa milk: An alarm! 3.gif

@BlondeTwiggy & brancra: I get out in mid-June. So I'm in between you two. Meaning that I have... The average deal, wheras Blonde got the best and brancra got ripped off. 3.gif

    @Leech10: It's "a while", not "awhile".

    Interesting fictional language lesson.

@justanothersim86: Hey, welcome back! Sort of. Say, whatever happened to that Moose Factory BAT you were making? It looked great! 4.gif

    Sleep?

    A relative thing, methinks.

    Down to bed at night,

    Eyes close on the pillow,

    Breathing slows and deepens...

    ...then the visitors appear.

Suddenly, there is a  flit - a quick motion the eye just perceives but is gone by the time the motion registers.

There!  The eye detected the motion yet again.

The breath quickens, the eyes become active and move more quickly to and fro,

Looking here, then there then here again as if REMembering something.

Finally, growing weary of seeing nothing, they slowing return to a quiet watchfullness.

The breathing slows yet again and the eyes grow still.

Hour after hour, the cycle repeats itself with some level of awareness, more or less.

Morning approaches and the visitors leave for the day.

The eye becomes aware of the brightness of their surroundings and open starting the body on its journey into a new day.

    Hi, N_O_Body.

Actually, I do.  I starting writing in 1967 when, as a junior in high school taking English Literature, we were given an assignment to write a poem.  I've been writing (as an amateur) poems, prose and short stories every since.  I really do enjoy it.

    Regards,

    Vandy
