All right! I'm pretty sure that no Show us your... thread has ever treaded here before... or at least I didn't see anything on this subject during the quick search I made. So I thought Why not? and then I went for it.

The title pretty much explains itself; in a nutshell, you post a picture (or pictures) of your SC4 plugins folder(s), abiding by ST image rules along the way of course (800x600 max unless it is linked or thumbnailed, in case ya didn't know). To kick things off, here is mine:

All of Tonkso's flagprops are out of their subfolder because I needed to use them in the LE. Those make up the bulk of the unorganized DATs. I might get a shot of my Program FIles/Maxis/SC4/Plugins folder later, but this'll do for now.

So that's me... but why don't you show us YOUR Plugins folder?

Here's mine..slightly edited, of course:

Everything is neatly divvied up, in chronological, and functional order.

SC4, Forevermore!

Currently preoccupied with architecture school...lurking with caution.

Here's what I use, kind of a long list. I always let the self installing plugins keep their original folder names.

Here's mine.

pluginssetup2fy.jpg

I actively go out of my way to keep things nice and organized by undoing the work of any installers and putting everything in its own folder. I also keep a picture directory of images of every file I'm using so that if I want to sort I can just go through the pictures, know what a file is and be able to compare it to the quality of the other files I'm using so that I can properly decide what I want to cut. Below is a picture of the commercial office section of my pictory directory (it's not in the plugins folder of course)

To futher help me organize things, I keep a printed chart of buildings next to my computer that list their lot size, the capacity, the wealth and the tile set they grow on so that I know when I'm playing the game. Yes, I'm obsessed. Anyway, here's the stats of the plugins beast.

Hey Spa that's a great idea keeping pics of the bats you have collected.  I think next time I start a new city I may do the same.  I like DL'ing bats from scratch every time I start a new city.  It makes for alot of new ideas and different bats.

@Gnargenox: I see that you have moved your STEX_Downloads subfolders under your Plugins folder. Members who upload stuff, intentionally placed this subfolder (usually containing only documentation) directly under the Simcity4 folder so as to keep SC4 from attempting to "load" these documentation files (thus increasing the game loading time). I would suggest that you move this subfolder back under Simcity4.
