Hi,

Simly create a piece of highway and drag an avenue under it, it should ask you if you want to build the on/offramp.

Hordijk-

You didn't mention to pgmark the need to do an Environmental Impact Statement first, then hold the public meetings, then get tied up in the courts for three or four years, then find out when you are finally done that the funding has been spent on somethings else.

Oh, sorry, confused SC4 with real life again.  It's good to be king.

Make sure you have room for it, it takes 11 tiles plus 1 on each side.  After you have it installed, then you can use the extra tile for road, rail, etc., to cross under.

EDIT:  Also, if the ground is really steep it won't install either.

Now what I want to know is would you still play SC if you had to go thru all that just to build an on/off ramp?!?

OHHH and I'd hate to see it when Wal-Mart comes to town!!!

@dedgren: Do you really think three or four years are enough? I know some highways and streets in Germany where they needed up to 40 years for going thru all the courts ...

To the origin highway / avenue question: Go to the Highway menu and select the normal offramps for your highway. Then press tab. The offramp type should cycle now through all available offramps. Press tab again until the suitable highway to avenue offramp appears then plop it.

I guess you are trying to do a ground highway to avenue offramp. Unlike elevated highway the ground highway to avenue offramp doesn't appear automatically.

edit: just saw you wanted to do el highway to avenue. This should work automatically but the manual way should work too!
/edit

Last but not least you can plop a T-intersection or a cloverleaf and convert your avenue to a highway for the intersection. Needs some place but in some case looks good and more realistic than the highway to avenue offramp.

Hope I could help you.

Nardo69-

I lived just outside Pirmasens at Husterhoeh Kaserne from 1976-1978.  It broke my heart when they decided not to complete the Saarbrucken-Karlsruhe autobahn east of the shoe city (mmmmm, Parkbrau).  That is such a beautiful, yet difficult area to travel in, and the road, in my view, was badly needed.

Tchuss.

This is really kind of fummy as I lived in Kaiserslautern 2002-2003 ...

They didn't buıld the A8 Karlsruhe - Saarbrücken but rebuild the B10 - four lanes near Landau, a lot of tunnels at Annweiler and ny now the new B10 should've reached Pirmasens ...

BTW I preferred Bishoff beer and in 2003 Parkbräu hat a lot of economical problems ...

I know this is irrelevant to the topic, but in New York City, a new park was officially opened recently (October 2005) that was supposed to be dedicated around the time the Holland Tunnel was finished (Circa 1922-25). Now that's bureaucratic backlog.

Plus, its just 2/3 of an acre (Its in Manhattan people).....LOL

Dude, there's only one thread that's anchored at the top of this forum, This board is not for asking questions.

If you can't read, then answering your question won't do any good anyway!

Of course I would. There's a disaster remember. If the sims complain, I just burn the little !@#!$^s. And it's not like they can impeach me or something. It's not like I don't have the Death Switch under the God menu. Or the llama cheat.
