Maxis Highway Override - Ramps to Road?

Hi, I've been scratching my head as to how I can connect MHW to the road network.

I'm trying to connect the on ramps (transitions) to the road network. I've found a couple of guides that suggest that I can simply use the RHW network tool and drag through the ramps and road tiles to make the connection, but it's not letting me. Is it possible to make this connection? Thanks.

I think the ramps are too close to the road. Try moving them back one tile on each side.

Just tried it. Unfortunately that doesn't work either?

How are you trying to make the connection? You should be using the RHW-2 Network and drag it from/to the ramp.

Yeah that's what I've been trying to use. I have scoured everything else, but that was my original assumption.

To confirm: I'm using L2 MHW, MIS Ramp L0-to-L1 transition (and L1-L2), regular Road to run under the highway, and trying to use RHW-2 to make the connection. I can't see what else to do?
